I had them both (Pure and regular) - I gave the regular one away once I started coloring my hair again. I like them both the same - the new one is a new formula and way weaker than the 1st one so you need to wash up daily and sometimes 2x in one shower session if you had a big night out and used lots of product. however, the new one doesnt have hash chemicals or that old samy smell that reminded me of a beachside motel that had been chainsmoked inside for decades (thats literally my interpretation of the scent of old samy! lol) the new Pure scent is more generic and suits all types of women. it lets your perfume have the most scent power. i'd rather use something gentle and cheap like samy pure any day! even if it is weaker, if is saving my color from fading :)

I agree with this statement: it rinsed clean and was not drying. But I do not think it added a lot of cvolume - maybe a little. I do think it adds more volume than Samy Smooth by far, but it should! In comparison to Fekkai, Paul Mitchell, Clairol, VS Very Sexy Volume or Loreal Vive, I have to say this doesnt amount to the others. it leaves behind no residue and I think it cleans my hair better than Clairol, and since its in the same price range, I'd rather go for Samy any day. PS: Buy Samy Pure if you have color treated hair! PLEASE dont waste your $$$ coloring your hair if you can't shell out the extra dollor or two for hair cxolor safe products! SUlfates = bad news!

Ok, I loooooove the fact that I can get this at target, but at $24, I had my doubts that it would be worth the money. Since I'm cheap, anything over $5 better be awesome. I ASSURE YOU, it rocks!!! I mean, Im reallly cheap, but this totally brightened up my face...and I am so glad I bought it! Of course I used the darker color to contour and the shimmery peach on the apples and closer to my nose to highlight. Wow, PERFECT with their Fat Face brush! I wish I bought that one too. Remember, sun glow is not the one pictured here. The contour color looks dark in the package, but a little goes a long way. You will love the peachy color for every day! I am caucasian with medium beige skin and I'm not even close to a professional, but I look well rested, not pink, and not bronzy. LOVES IT!!!!

Absolute honestly: It works better on some people than others. Some don't have the "allergic reaction" to the stuff, and they don't swell like me! out of my 4 GFs who tried it, 2 have big pouts and two have mediums. 1 big pout looked huge and perfect, while another just looked more red and pretty much the same. Out of the girls with medium pouts, they had the ideal reaction: Bigger lips and only slight redness. My mom, on the other hand, has very thin lips, and it just irriates her more than anything. Yes, she is a wuss and complains about the stinging, but she has less surface area to expand upon in the first place, so the results look good, but maybe "forced" if you will. If you got some lip, and plan on wearing a color over it great! Cause you will have a bit of redness.

I have to bring it out with me for a touch up and I don't like that. But omg..... this smell is everything I hoped I'd find this fall/winter for an upscale night out and all the social gatherings like it. I'm gonna go out on a limb and be totally dorky, but i wanted to be completely honest - especially if you're trying to decide whether or not to buy it, read: This perfume exudes class but not prudeness; at the same time it is not in-your-face. NOT super-sexy or heavy (It doesn't scream, I plan on having sex with you tonight!) It is more sophisticated, youthful, innocent, and for that I would reccommend it for a first date or going out with friends, and yes, wear it to a four star restaurant and go for cocktails. Wear it to work if you really love your job that much, wear it to a Christmas party, wear it to meet or visit your man's relatives, you could even pull it off at church. Don't expect it to be overbearing or winter spicy or musky, and it is just "grown up" enough - I'd day it's ideal for a fashionable, educated woman in her 20s to early 30s who already has her big-night-out perfume chosen. It is chic, light, innocent, and perfect for many occasions. I pictured wearing it with my tan trench coat and gucci bag a la Victoria Beckham in the store, and that's what I wanted, so I bought it. If you already have your avergae, everyday scent, this isn't a necessary purchase - but I found myself in this juice. If you want him to wonder why you smell so good, wear this - he will have to be close to really notice it because it's subtle, not sexual (sorry for the sex references! lol!) If you are trying to hook your man on your scent, this may be it - but he isnt going to expect a black lace garter belt and stillettos ;) Sophisticated, romantic, and femme! One spray per wrist., plus a shot at the neck. You will have to reapply if you're going out for more than 5 hours - I think I may get an imitation roll-on perfume oil in this scent because I can take it with me (my bottle is BIG!) and WOW those oils last longer than the real juices usually! I didn't give this a 9 like the scent deserves because it wears off and that makes me so mad after spending the $$$

BUY THIS if you are going to cut down on your tranning regimen or stop altogether. you can keep your skin mousturized without mineral oil (which BLEACHES that tan you worked so hard for!) this products keeps your skin from flaking off , keeps your tan in place longer! its great to invest in your skin especially if you cant always get to the salon, keep what you can get in the harsh winter! PS: unisex smell, will not clash with perfume, just smells clean , natural, and barely there....not reminiscent of actual tanning lotion.

its BANGIN if you already have a bit of a tan!!!!! it has no red or orange hues whatsoever and NO SHIMMER! just a great way to look like you have a real natural tan from vacation. it can be used in small quantities to get a very fair skinned girl to have some bronzage - best of all, there is no fading to orange or red because none of those pigments are blended in here. just BROWN the way a tan should be! PS: i used to use this stuff religiously a few summers ago! i am soooo glad i found it on here because now i'm going to buy it and fall in love again =)

it smells like early 90's lipstick that your mom used to have in bright red. i dont know, it just smells like that strong smell which i can't get over... probably because it reminds me of when i was a kid watching my mom get ready , it gets the job done, but it's not soothing at all. i just keep it in my purse to prep. i use it under matte lipsticks or glosses when i need a base or my lips are too dry to look good with any color.. i hate to complain about the smell but it isnt the cheapest brand on the planet & i think that the almost-chemical smell distracts me,

i am very lucky o have skin wirth showing off. when i need to look perfectly done up, i always reach for my MAC Mineralize !! i always use undereye concealer with this, and it totally rocks for unbelievable cov erage! i have freckles that can shine through but my blue circles are not visible. it appears natural and dewey, but not oily in any way. i can even use it on my oily forehead and it looks the same as on my dry cheeks! i DESPISE the dry look of other foundations, and i have searched far and wide for a foundation to lok polished but not like a mannequin. and i dont feel this on my face at all you wont notice it on your most sensitive of areas (for me, thats aroudn creases such as my nose and mouth- with other foundations, i always feel like there is something that i need to wipe off, lol. just a heads up, when going to a club, i need to use powder when during t he day i never need any type of powder. whatsoever! because i don't sweat at my job l ike i do when i'm out dancing :) this stuff is ideal if you like to add bronzer and blush, it is made to blend and just mesh with your skin and any other makeup. my undereye concealer and powder are not MAC like my other makeup, but they work miraculously well in unison with Mineralize, i think because this foundation is oh so blendable. i dont know what i would do without it!
