I'm trying the Nutrogena acne program and so far am not too impressed. The facial cleanser is nice but pretty much like every other one out there. Nothing too special.

I've tried a lot od deoderants. I'm not super active but have always struggled with finding a deoderant strong enough that wouldn't stain my clothes and wasn't too fragerance-y. Avon produces really quality products and it shows in their deoderants, too. Very sheer and provides great coverage.

I agree; one less step is always nice. I get exhausted with multi-step hair care, face care, etc. This is a great product that leaves your hair feeling smooth and silky and is fairly well priced. A from me.

I've been using this product for a few years and it's your pretty standard green/red combo duo. I don't really have any complains--I think the green does wonders to contrast red inflamation--but you have to stipple (smudge/pat) it into the skin rather than rubbing the way you traditionally apply foundation. Before the packaging changed the instructions were very clear about this. Sometimes I don't use the skin tone on top; instead, I just use a dab of my foundation.

Nice, classy color palette to chose from. Lasts slightly longer than other quality polishes (i.e. OPI) but nothing spectacular. The bottle design is elegant and nicely shaped for grasping.

I typically put a coat of this on top of my polish when I'm serious about having pretty nails. It *does* prevent chipping for several days and gives polish a nice, finished feel. Sometimes I use it by itself to make my nails that classy, manicured look. However, I wouldn't say it's any better than any other top coat product available. Priced about the same as everyone else.

I used the Velocity set for several months and really, really liked it. ProActive, for some reason, didn't really do too much for my (moderate) acne. I quit this routine because of the Acne Treatment Gel (read separate review) but was pleased with the Cleanser and Lotion. The lotion was lightweight, non-greasy, and isn't heavy with overpowering fragrances that are bad for the skin. However, I do warn customers to use with caution! This product has two disadvantages: 1. If put on too thickly, or applied to closely to foundation, your foundation (I tried this with both liquid and cream varieties) will...how do I explain it? Almost like little rubber cement shavings that you'll need to brush off your face, and sometimes streaks a bit. If you apply a really thin layer of lotion and leave about 20 minutes between application of it and your foundation, you should be okay. 2. No idea if this will happen with other colors, but beware that this WILL stain lavender/grey. I ruined three pillowcases and a few shirt necklines before figuring out that the Velocity moisturizer (but much worse, the Acne Treatment Gel) will bleach the color out of these shades. I know those two things sound really horrible, but I really do recommend this system to youth who want to manage their acne with a well-priced and well-developed system. Plus Mary Kay will refund your purchase if you decide it isn't for you.

My mom has used this foundation for longer than I can remember and is always pushing me to switch to it. She orders a shade not traditionally available in the catalogue and has never wanted any other foundation. I tried it once and thought it was pretty great--just didn't give me quite the maximum coverage I wanted to cover really red acne.
