I began reviewing cosmetics for Lorac for another site many years ago. Their items were quite different then, but still the great quality they are now--perhaps even better. This "Greatest Hits CD" contains, as stated, some of Lorac's best-ever achievements and comes in two shade combinations--the one shown is in hues of crème, gold, brown, and black; another is available in tones of pink, plum, blue, and grey. All of the items in these palettes blend flawlessly for a subtle or dramatic look, perfect for day or evening. Two items are absolutely outstanding in this particular one: The tender powder blush in "Soul" is becoming to just about every complexion possible. It's completely sheer on the skin and applies seamlessly, but gives a beautiful glow. Years ago, it was akin to Nars' famed blush shade (can't say it here, but you are aware of what I am speaking). My all-time favorite Lorac creation is the red-brown lip and cheek tint (once available in a pot of its own, and I had one stashed everywhere!). It is an incredibly gorgeous hue, once more appropriate for all skin tones. A little goes a long way for a natural but seductive flush. It has stayed on me for up to twelve hours in an amusement park--through water rides, heat, and sweat. Don't pass this gem by--it is available at eBay for around $15.00. Talk about bargains!

This is thick and rich, but once it's gone from yours lips, which is quickly, it leaves nothing behind to protect them or soothe them. At least Chapstick makes a noticeable difference with use. I didn't find this with Kiehl's at all.

Many mascaras leave my eyes watering like crazy, but not this one. I love the brown color; it looks more natural on me. This mascara gives me volume AND length, with no clumping or flaking. It definitely deserves ten stars.

I ask my husband for this for my birthday and again at Christmas--I use the huge bottles and they last a long time. The fragrance is like nothing I've ever smelled before, but it is so clean and fresh that I simply love it. It also leaves skin soft. Great for long soaks in the tub.

Most fragrances irritate me, but I think this is sophisticated and soft and sexy. It's one of the very few I've ever worn and will continue to wear. It's a classic, with good reason!

When I first looked at the peach and plum shades, I couldn't imagine how they could blend together to create anything natural looking at all. But the folks at Benefit know their stuff. When you swirl the colors of this blush together, you get a pretty, feminine glow, prettier than most other blushes.

Who couldn't love this little lit tube with a mirror? It's so convenient. The gloss comes in clear and lovely shades, and it keeps my lips moist, not sticky. Other brands actually have caused my lips to peel, but not Artistry. I love all of their products.

My lips peeled with other lip plumping products. Soap & Glory has a more gentle formula, although it's just as effective. My lips were slightly fuller, but they didn't peel as they did with the other items. The colors are beautiful and the gloss is non-sticky and smooth. Love it!

I used this lotion when it was recommended by a friend. It forms a type of coating on your skin which lasts a long time. When you wash it off, rough, itchy patches are smoothed and are healing. Great stuff!

My skin is really sensitive and most products don't work for me. This is soothing to my skin under my moisturizer. After continual use, I am definitely seeing an improvement in wrinkles and dark spots. I don't go a day without it!
