  • L'Oreal Paris Ideal Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser

I've been using this cleanser for several months now, along with the Genesis Exfoliating wash to compliment it most mornings. My combination skin has never been clearer or smoother. Although I wouldn't say my pores are any smaller, I am overall very happy with this product and it's make-up removing abilities (and it doesn't make my eyes burn!!!). I only need a small dollop to leave my entire face feeling fresh and clean, my fiance loves the smell after i wash at night, and the cap is super handy for travelling (simply turn it counter-clockwise to lock it). The pricepoint on this product is impressive, particularly after picking my first bottle up at costco along with the oil-free moisturizer for only $11 CAD.

  • Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner/Styling Cream

I've lived with my medium thick curly hair my entire life, after fighting the curls through my adolescence, in my 20's I decided to work with my curls and had been on the hunt for a product to help keep my curls together, hydrated, and touchable. I've tried many many salon and drugstore products, but until finding Mixed Chicks never found anything that worked. I now get compliments all the time on my hair! unfortunately I have to ship the product from the US to Canada, which can get kind of pricey with exchange, duty, and shipping, but the small bottle lasts me about 6 months, and the large (liter) bottle about 1 and a half years (without degredation of effectiveness or quality). I highly recommend this product to anyone with curly hair, mixed race is not a requirement (I'm 100% of Eastern Europen descent)

  • L'Oréal Paris EverPure Sulfate-Free Color Care System Moisture Shampoo

I've tried Everpure shampoo, condiioner, and deep conditioner (moisturizing).. I have medium thick curly hair, and it left my hair feeling absolutely amazing and worked well with my regular leave in connditioner (Mixed Chicks). However, about three or four days into using the Everpure, my back and chest were covered in a rash that I originally thought was pimples, but my doctor diagnosed it as a pretty severe allergic reaction. I do have sensitive skin, so I wasn't terribly surprised. I did give the products I purchased to a friend who has never had problem skin..but a few days into her using the product, she also broke out into a rash on her chest and back. A little susicious????
