I've tried quite a few lip liners through the years and this doesn't stand out for any other reasons than the colour. [This particular] colour goes with quite a few lip products I have and it blends in with both semi-vibrant reds and cooler browns. As for the 'long lasting' myth, I found that it faded/degraded into my actual lip colour just under an hour and a quarter after I applied. Would not buy again.

Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara

Okay? Okay.

A while ago, I decided I was sick and tired of hearing about this 'Holy Grail of Mascara!' from friends, and decided to try it out for myself. Not expecting great results it's fair to say my friends had a point. The applicator is a bit small (non-curved applicator) so there was a lot of excess when I took the applicator out of the bottle, but that was an easy fix. It was only when I got to applying it that I found the real problem. The formula is very runny, and it makes quite a mess when you put it on. It can be quite clumpy near the ends of your lashes, which can actually impact your day-to-day life. I found this quite annoying but soon found that if you wipe off quite a lot of the mascara onto the bottle, before gently flicking the brush along the length of each lash in a few swift strokes, it can leave quite an impressive result. Wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone but still a good mascara for anyone looking for a light coating of lash plumper.

Getting there!

This is a great liquid eyeliner but the applicator is quite hard to work with. If you're looking for a thin line, it'll give you a bold, sometimes messy line. Maybe you could use another applicator with the bottle? Apart from the applicator issue, it's a great buy and the actual fluid is long lasting and glossy.

Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Mega Plush Waterproof Mascara

We found lovee..

Amazing mascara for people with longer lashes! I find it rarely clumps and can last up to a good 8 hours! Easy to remove and it doesn't do your lashes any damage when you wipe it off. The brush may be hard to use or awkward for some but it all depends on the technique. I prefer to wiggle the brush as I stroke to get the best coverage and least clumping! Would definitely recommend!
