I don't think the mineral veil does much for me. The Bare Escentuals mineral foundation is semi-matte already, so I don't need any more "luminosity" after I use it. The only reason I tried this is because it was part of the set and I wanted to reduce shine. It doesn't really deliver on that.

This is an okay concealer for your eyes and on uneven skin tone, but it didn't do much for me when I tried to cover blemishes. JI used to make a similar concealer that was amazing... this is the updated version of it, and it just isn't quite as good.

This eyeliner is pretty fun to play with. It's good if you like the look that you get when you use eyeshadow to line your eyes. As you add layers, it gets thicker, so if you have a light layer, you can smudge it and make it look very natural, but if you add more, you can have a very dramatic "smoky eye" look. Fun stuff.

I've been using Jane Iredale makeup since 2002 when an esthetician told me about it. It's totally non-irritating, and it's amazing how the pressed powder version of jane's mineral foundation leaves so much less shine than the loose kind. I've also tried Bare Escentuals, which is not bad (a little more coverage than Jane), but for convenience and shine-stopping, this is my go-to product.

When I wear loose mineral makeup (I like Jane Iredale and Bare Escentuals), it leaves my shiny skin a little too "dewy" looking, so I brush this on top. It keeps the shine away without feeling heavy. I also use it with my Jane Iredale pressed powder. Good stuff!
