    Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion

    3-step system works!

I tried 3-step when I was 14, and the saleslady said that it would clear up my acne and I wouldn't need to use any other products. Well, she was just plain lying, and since then I was convinced that this whole 3-step thing was bogus. However, now I'm 25, and my recent trip to a clinique counter had them trying to get me to try it again. I relented, and I am glad! While my 14 year old skin needed something stronger, the mild clarifying lotion is just enough to prevent breakouts and even out my 25 year old skin. I don't use the Clinique soap or lotion, but the cleanse, clarifying lotion, moisturizer regime twice a day has made my skin so much nicer.

  • Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap

This is a great, biodegradable, all-purpose soap. It foams much better than most organic soaps and smells lovely. I use it as a bubble bath and just let the lavender scent take away the stresses of the day.

  • The Body Shop Relaxing Lavender Milk Bath Powder

I really like this...it doesn't smell fake at all, natural and relaxing. It also makes my skin nice and smooth. I look forward to coming home after a hard day and relaxing in my lavender-scented tub...

  • Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer

I don't really like this; I think it makes my lips look too shimmery and sort of weird. It isn't really moisturizing enough to use as a lip gloss, since the shimmer looks really bad over chapped lips, but I also can't put it on as a lip balm since the shimmer is there. Wouldn't recommend it.

  • Estee Lauder Sensuous Eau de Parfum Spray

I love this. I cannot express how much. I have spent YEARS looking for a scent that my sensitive nose can handle. Literally every other (expensive!!) fragrance I have tried results in me needing to wash it off about 1/2 an hour later. For some reason, this scent does not bother me, and I even wear it every day. Additionally, it smells so so lovely and makes me feel like a sexual, sensuous being. I feel confident and great when I put this on!

    Estee Lauder High Gloss

    love this, weird smell though

This is a great lip gloss, that looks natural yet noticeable, and is not too sticky. I wear it every day. However, it does taste/smell a little weird, I wish they had forgone the scent.

  • Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup

I've been shopping around for a cream makeup for awhile. I've tried Clinique, Benefit, Estee Lauder...and they make great products that are not the right shade for my pale but not so pale skin. However, this makeup, finally, is exactly my color, and they have many colors to choose from. I LOVE this foundation, as a result. It goes on very smooth and is nearly invisible while giving me pretty good coverage. The only caveat, why this is a 9 and not a 10: I HATE the smell. It sort of smells like something my grandmother would wear, and the smell is pretty strong. That said, this bothers me for the 30 seconds I spend applying it, and then I can't notice the smell. Amazing product, but misguided people who added the fragrance? Why can't it just be fragrance free?

  • Clinique Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser

I usually buy drugstore cleaners because they are cheaper and until now just as good, but the clinique lady convinced me to buy this because it specifically removes make-up and sunscreen...and wow I am glad I did. You only need the tiniest drop and you get a rich lather that removes everything and is not overdrying. Plus fragrance-free, a definite bonus for me. Great job clinique!!

  • John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock, Leave On Perfecting Glosser

This is good. It makes my hair shiny and sleek, but doesn't make it stiff like a hair gel would. The only thing is if you use it on hair that is slightly dirty (aka you washed it yesterday instead of today) it can make your hair look greasy. But if you are getting ready to go out and look extra nice, this works well.

  • Origins Spot Remover Acne Blemish Treatment Gel

This will make the pimple look a little less red if you leave it on overnight, but overall it isn't great. It is WAAY too drying, which means that instead of having a red dot you have a flaky red dot and any coverup looks gross on it. Also, it stings a lot when you put it on, so the effects take a while (overnight) to happen. I definitely won't buy it again.
