This blush is wonderful because it doesn't cause my skin to break out and it makes everything look dewy and blends naturally into the apples of my cheeks. I use the baby pink color, and sometimes I'll dust the powder blush on top, if I want to look extra rosy. Great creamy formula that is non greasy.

Rose glace is hands down my favorite color in this collection. They also do fun limited edition colors, like Rio Red and Cancun Coral, which I also like. The old formula was more sticky-the newer version of the gloss seems to be slicker and smoother. The lipgloss also works well over the lipstick, if you want an even richer color. Looks just as great by itself-has plenty of color.

When my skin starts to misbehave, this mask helps me stay in control. It's very cooling on the skin and feels kind of minty. I'll put it all over my face but concentrate mainly on the areas where I feel a potential pimple coming up. After rinsing this mask off I then use the charcoal mask, also by Origins. I think the two work really well together.

If you're looking for a nice red lip color but find regular lipstick to be a bit on the dramatic side, buy the Laura Mercier lip balm in crimson! It is a gorgeous shade of red but more sheer and light. It is soft, moisturizing and you can conveniently slip it into your clutch purse, beach bag, whatever. This is shiny like gloss but minus the sticky residue, and it gives you a big pop of color.

Here's a tip I suggest when using this lip balm: take something long and firm, like the end of a spoon or a chopstick, anything you can use to stir, and dig into the pot and stir everything up until you get a soft mixture going. Then dip your finger in and rub on your lips! This trick makes the balm easier to apply and it shows up more and lasts longer. I love the way this stuff smells.

I'm a fan of Benefit's products and I'm obsessed with anything Hawaiian, so naturally, "Hoola Bronzer" sounded like it was just the product for me. I find the packaging adorable and the brush was really cute, but the bronzer was a bit on the muted and dull side for me. I didn't notice any shimmer or sparkle, and the bronzer made my face look a bit dirty. I would probably suggest using this very minimally and with a longer, thinner brush. I don't think the brush that they include in the packaging is the right size and consistency to go along with the bronzer. I would also probably put a shimmer gel or dust some gold sparkle on top, to make it look more like a bronzer and less like a powder foundation.

After having used the translucent powder by Laura Mercier for years, my makeup artist suggested I try this mineral finishing powder out when he got some on the shelves. All it took was a 30-second demonstration on my face and I was sold. This is the softest, most gentle powder that leaves your skin looking flawless and feeling like velvet! I have very oily skin and even after wearing this powder on my face for 8 hours, my face looks dewy, but never oily or shiny. I don't use the regular translucent powder anymore because this controls the oil and shine better. Not sure how it would word on dry/regular skin, but it's great for those with excess oil.

While I do like Chanel, I wouldn't say their nail polish is of an impressive quality. No doubt a lot of it is about the name brand, and the packaging is always attractive, but the polish doesn't seem to last any longer than other brands, even Rite Aid. I will say though that Chanel does come up with some beautiful colors, including Rodeo Drive (a lavender), Mimosa (a bright yellow) and Black Satin (a rich, glossy black). I wouldn't exclusively purchase my nail polish from Chanel, but I would buy the occasional bottle, particularly when it's a unique color that is harder to find elsewhere.

I'm picky when it comes to perfume: I own less than 5 bottles, and this is one that I enjoy. I consider it a splurge because Juicy isn't exactly cheap, but I like the bigger bottle because it lasts longer. The scent is on the sweet side, with hints of fruity watermelon. I get a lot of compliments on this fragrance when I wear it. It isn't overly strong, so even when I do overspray, no one ever seems to notice. I also love to spray it on my clothes in my closet.

This is one of my favorite face masks by Origins. I use this in conjunction with the Origins Out of Trouble mask. This is great because it sucks everything out of your pores and really gives you a good deep cleaning. Only takes about 10 minutes-you'll know the mask is done because it will be firm and dry on your face. Just rinse off, and you'll find smooth skin underneath. Very affordable and one tube will last me 2-3 months, depending on how often I use it.
