If you want huge long think false-looking lashes, this is not the way to go. But, if you want that, "What, I don't wear makeup" look, meet your new best friend. Defines without clumping, flaking or smudging. Plus, you can find it anywhere and it costs around $7.

I love MAC almost without fail, but I could not stand this product. Half way through the day it started flaking, and this was with a brand new, non-dried out tube. I'm going back to Cover Girl Lash Exact: half the price, none of the flakes.

Yes, your lashes look great, but you have racoon eyes within a few hours. It smudges if you have undereye concealer on or not.

I bought the Tint of Rose because I was having an emergency no-makeup situation and it was on sale for half off. I instantly became obsessed: aside from the SPF it was a nice pepperminty sent and slight tingle, and the color is sheer with a bit of a golden sparkle to it. A few days later I bought Tint of Cranberry and was surprised by the intensity of the color. Pleasantly surprised, I should clarify. I'm alternating between these two colors pretty much daily now and will probably go back to stock up, because it seems like the product is being discontinued. For $1.50, you can't really go wrong, and it's a great thing to have in your bag for work or the gym.

Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 - Normal
Good for normal skin
I liked it a lot when I was younger, but now that my skin is more (ahem) mature and I live in a less humid climate, it's not moisturizing enough.

I like the thickness of this product: it really stays on your lips without feeling sticky or goopy. However, due to the thickness, once you've used the product in the middle of the bottle it is nearly impossible to get at the rest that is hanging out around the edges. I feel like I have to throw it out when there's still half of the product remaining.

I haven't tried any of the other varities, so I speak only of the Lite Lip: I love it. I am a perpetual biter/picker when my lips get dry and flaky, and I combat this problem by always wearing lip balm. Therefore, I prefer a balm on the waxier end of the spectrum so it stays with me and I don't have to reapply every 15 minutes. Lite lip is perfection: it's thick enough to stay on but the texture is not so sticky that it makes it impossible to rub your lips together. It also has a faint but pleasant smell but no sweet taste that only encourages you to lick it off. My only complaint: I wish it came in a tube instead of a tin.

I've sworn by Pink Swoon for years. It looks frighteningly bright pink in the case but goes on a pretty, subtle shade. I'm very pale, and it looks like a sweet healthy flush on me.

I have naturally curly hair and grew up in the South (aka Humidity Central,) so I have used just about every curl defining or antifrizz product there is. And this one is, hands down, the best. Nice texture and definition with no crispiness. Genius genius genius.

This is great for the very pale (like me). It has a nice scent, absorbs quickly, and leaves skin soft and (slightly) less ghostly.
