Was Skeptic - New Favorite!

I'll admit, I was skeptic! A mousse haircolor? I thought, "There won't be enough mousse in this bottle to cover my hair!" but, after making sure all my roots and tips were covered and moussed up, I still had a quarter bottle left! I applied the rest and sat back, waiting to see if I made a mistake. Nope! It turned out amazing, shiny and my roots actually looked OK! I also used "Brass Banisher" because when I dye my hair, my irish red seems to come out quite a bit. If this happens to you too - I recommend using Brass Banisher directly AFTER dying! It'll make your hair even silkier and smoother, plus take away the unwanted red hinge.

These are the next best thing to getting acrylics! For the price (I paid 299 at The Dollar General), they're amazing. With one box (ONE) I was able to do my hands and toes. I wore them for about a week. When I say wore, I mean wore! Splashing in the ocean, diving in a pool, walking (and tripping) down a boardwalk, putting on and pulling off socks, missing the sliding glass door handle and raking my nails inside the holder. Anyway - I wore them! Even with the extreme conditions wear, after a week they still looked like I had just put them on! Not a single peel on any finger or toe! I was ready to change them though. Unlike traditional nails, taking this off is a breeze. I simply used a cuticle pushing to pull up a corner and then peeled with my fingers. There was a slight sticky residue that came off with two rubs by a cotton cloth. So! If you've been wanting to try these - DO! You'll love them.

Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse

Not for me.

I bought this pump form at the same time as the mousse form. First - the mousse was a much worse product (I gave it 1 star, and this pump form a 5). This product goes on much easier than the mousse, but it still gives me the chalky, pasty look. The look that screams "I'm wearing foundation!" I like my foundation to match my natural skin color and blend in well so that it hides in the background and just covers minor facial flaws. I do have a few minor wrinkles on my forehead, and both this and the mousse made them much more visible. Although this product is better than the mousse, I won't be using it again.

Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse

HATE IT!

I bought this foundation both in the round container and pump form. I had seen commercials for this product and I was so excited! A matte finish? Awesome! NOT! Once you've been able to rub it in completely (No, it doesn't rub in smoothly with a single finger, I needed both hands!), it makes skin look pasty, or chalky. It definitely doesn't look natural, and makes my skin feel bumpy - which it's not. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend or purchase this, or the pump form to or for anyone.

Olay Definity Intense Hydrating Cream

Sad to see this go!

I loved this moisturizer, it was my favorite product out of the whole definity line! It moisturized, but didn't grease on skin or rub off on pillow. The cream soaked in to skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15

Not up to Olay standards

I bought the entire Definity line when it first came out, hoping for something amazing. Boy was I disappointed! The only product (out of the whole line!) that I REALLY loved was the night cream. This moisturizer does work, but it makes my skin shiny, and I do not have oily skin - so I cannot imagine what it will do to someone with oily skin. The hint of color in it does well to cover small things like red spots or brown spots, but only increase the visibility of lines or wrinkles. If you're staying home and just want a good around the house moisturizer, this works great - however, do not use in conjunction with foundation or blush! It seems to repel other makeup and makes it clot up on your face!

Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini-Peel

A Must-Have!

I've been using the Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini-Peel for about two years now and, while there is subtle difference in my overall skin look, the main difference is in the way it feels. The "cream" is a light lavender color and smells fantastic. There are itty-bitty microbeads that really exfoliate problem areas (for me, it's my nose) It's best to wet your face (or other area your using it on - try your shoulders!) first, put it on, then add more water to get the warming sensation going again. A little goes a LONG way! I squirt it into the middle of my hand and use approx a pea size per use, 2x a day. You may not notice a huge difference in your skin (it's not really designed for that anyway!), but you'll definitely feel silky smooth! I would recommend waiting a half hour to an hour after using to apply morning makeup/night face cream due to sensitivity from exfoliating. Again - Over two years of use, and still love it!
