Retro Glam Is My Jam!

I picked up Rimmel London Retro Glam Mascara at the local drug store when I needed some cosmetics in a pinch. I bought it because it promised to give me bold eyes and was on sale for cheap. The shape of the brush weirded me out at first. How is this hourglass shape going to coat all my lashes? The first few times I used it, I was timid and the mascara didn't look good because I only let the brush barely touch my lashes. But as I got more comfortable using the brush, I came to love it. The hourglass shape helps you get the lashes in the inner and outer corner of your eyes, which does make the eyes stand out more. The mascara formula itself is good. I didn't have too much trouble with clumping.

Clairol Professional Repair Daily Shampoo

Good Value, Good Result

I used Clairol Professional Repair Daily Shampoo when I received a bottle for free. I was not aware of the product before then. I am so glad I did! I wanted to see what this shampoo was really about, so I purposely used it without using any conditioner or other hair products afterward. I have thick, somewhat coarse, waste-length hair. This means I typically go through a lot of shampoo even in just one wash. But with the Clairol Professional, I only needed a small dollop (maybe slightly more than quarter size), and it lathered up enough to thoroughly saturate my scalp and the full length of my hair. I'd actually used too much! That never happens to me! I liked that very much. I washed my hair, toweled it off and then let it air dry the rest of the way. I was not prepared for how soft my hair felt. It was as if I had conditioned it. I actually checked the bottle to see if it was a 2-in-1 product. It's not. My hair also looked especially shiny. Bonus! My hair is dyed, and I typically get a little oily in my scalp, but a little dry on my ends. This product worked well for both.
