  • Olay CC Cream Total Effects 7-in-1 Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15

When I received this moisturizing foundation I was intrigued right off the bat. The moisturizer & foundation look like a twirled creemee inside the container. While this product is part of Olay's 7 Effects line, I did not see nearly that many effects on my own skin. In the Pro column: this moisturizer should last you a long time, as a little goes a long way (a really, really long way), there wasn't any overpowering perfume/scent to the product, it glides on smoothly without feeling very oily. In the Con column: the directions recommend reapplying the product every two hours (and really, who has time for that?), it took multiple layers before I noticed any real change in my skin tone - meaning that it did not make my skin tone consistent across my face until I had applied at least three layers of the product, the more layers I applied the more my crows feet stood out (so the product didn't glide over the lines, it sank into them and ended up emphasizing them more), after several days of wearing the product my face began to breakout (probably because it couldn't breath underneath all those thin layers), the longer I kept it on the more oil my skin produced, and when I got hot I had to reapply even more frequently as the consistency of the color would begin to fade. Ultimately I think this product may be better for folks with normal to dry skin vs oily or combination skin. And I can't speak to how well the sunscreen worked as I don't know if it was the multiple layers of color-correction or the sunscreen that protected my face, though I didn't tan or burn when in the sun while wearing this product. Final results - this product is not for me.

Guerlain Vol de Nuit Eau de Toilette

    Lucious and Luxurious

This is like most of the fragrances to come out of the Guerlain line - decadent and delicious. It is rich and warm in tone, but still soft and light, wrapping around your senses at all the right times and in all the right places. It is a shame that this is such a challenge to find, and if perfume didn't have a shelf-life I would tell you to buy every bottle you could locate when you do get lucky enough to come across it! Delectable!

  • Bulgari BVLGARI pour Femme Parfum Spray

This is a very rich, robust perfume. It comes out being almost too sweet, but if you give it a few minutes for the perfume to unwind from the bottle and relax into your skin, you will realize that it is complex and layered, with different tones and notes coming out depending on your mood and activities. Despite the price tag, it is well worth a try! Save this one for special events and I promise they will be remembered forever!

  • Guerlain Shalimar Eau de Toilette Spray

This is a fragrance that will help you to create those wonderful memories that you plan to relive over and over when you have reached the near end and can no longer do all those things you once did - but one whiff of Shalimar and those memories all come racing back - and they are all so beautiful and romantic, so full of life and love and laughter. A timeless winner!

  • Ralph Lauren Romance Eau de Parfum

This is a well named perfume - it is flowery and romantic, but not too heavy on the florals. This is wonderful on a warm summer day, as it continues to produce the aroma as your skin warms throughout the day - but is never overpowering.

    Absolutely Delicious!

I agree with others - the history and back story on this perfume are fantastic - for good reason. This is just one of those fragrances that makes you feel 5 pounds thinner, like you are having a perfect hair day, or found the hottest pair of brand new Christian Louboutain heels for under $100! This fragrance has the versatility to be all things to all people - and I love it! So I won't mind if you don't believe me - more for me, and it means all the men will be thinking about me instead of someone who isn't wearing this perfume...

Stay Away - This One is MINE! :-)

I first learned of this from a Diana Gabaldon book (I am certain some of you know who and what I am talking about) - I tried it and fell in love. Subtle and yet it lingers in the memory long after you have left the room - but it doesn't linger in the air and choke everyone around you! This is a very soft, gentle fragrance, but also sophisticated at the same time.

Airy, Light Hair that Styles with Ease

This is a great hair product. Having had fine, thin hair my entire life I have been on a life-long quest for hair products that can give my hair body and boost, without making it look weighed down or oily within 1/2 a day - and this is one of the few good ones. Just a little of this and you are good to go from morning coffee to a night out with the girls!

    La Prairie Cellular Wrinkle Cream

Not Quite as Much Bang for Your Buck

This is an expensive product (as is the entire line), and I expected more from it than I received. The cream felt good and left my skin soft, but I saw no difference in the condition of my skin - no more or less wrinkles. So maybe it helps to prevent them, but who really sees an increase in wrinkles in six weeks? Personally I think there are better options out there for far less, leaving you more $$ to buy other products!
