Clairol Professional Repair Daily Shampoo

Doesn't lather

I received a bottle of this shampoo from total beauty to review. I gave this shampoo over two weeks using it every day for the first week and every other day by the second week. My first impression was, where is the lather? I thought perhaps I had too much build up in my hair , so I used my neutrogenia anti-residue shampoo and tried it again the next night. Still no lather, when I tried to rinse it out, it felt as though I had some type of residue left behind (a pet peeve of mine when it comes to hair care). I was still excited to see the difference it made on my color treated hair (I partial foil with a non bleach highlight & lowlight) every 5 months). I styled and nothing. No amazing shine, no "wow". My hair actually seemed more weighted at the roots. So as you can see, I'm not impressed with clairols attempt at Pro products at a drug store price. I didn't care for this shampoo at all, I didn't even hand it down to my husband (who uses whatever I do not use:) . I give it 4 stars for the clean scent.

Victoria's Secret Pink Body Lotion

Cleand and Inviting

I really love the packaging and aroma of this lotion. It makes me feel extra feminine after a nice shower. It is moisturizing and doesnt give you that tacky feeling that alot of perfumed lotions give you.

Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss

Shiny but not sticky

I love Dior's ultra addict lip gloss, especially in the summer. It goes on smooth and not goopy. I do not remember the mango color I bought but it pair nicely with the addict lipstick giving me a great summer sparkly smile. It is light enough to throw in your beach bag and glistens nicely in the summer sun without giving you that made up look on the beach. Price is expected , higher than drug store brands, but the colors and formulas are what you are paying for. Love Dior.

Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt Foot Scrub

Works like a charm

I love Dr. Teals products because I know I am buying a homeopathic product with essential oils that deliver results. This salt foot scrub worked great at removing dead skin and rejuvenating my tired feet. It left them feeling tingly and clean. Dr Teals products are always hidden away at the bottom shelf at the big shopping named stores when they should be within eyes view for the consumer. I highly recommend this foot scrub because it works and doesn't cost a lot.

Aveeno Calamine and Pramoxine HCl Anti Itch Cream

Review subject

I use this for myself and my 7 year old sons mosquito bites.. My son has sensitive itchy skin on the the back of his arms and it moisturizes and takes the itch away immediately. It smells like noxema and has a very slight cooling tingling feel and calms the skin. I feel comfortable using aced no on my son, it's been a staple in my bathroom since he was a baby. Price is great as a little goes a long way.

Jason Lavender of Provence Lotion

Affordable, natural & quality lotion

It's really hard to find a (pretty much) natural/organic body lotion at a decent price for a reasonable amount of product. This is the best I've found so far. Only a few ingredients are synthetic, although not harmful and are in small amounts. There are no dangerous preservatives like parabens or phenoxyethanol. It is a smooth consistency and thick (but this is how I like my lotions) - and it does have a true lavender fragrance, which I think is not for everyone. If you want a natural lotion that is not going to sit in your poors clogging them this lotion and the Jason brand is an affordable alternative to the higher brand named store products.

Visine Maximum Redness Relief Formula

Works great but can damage eyes

I have been using visine for years. I have allergies, as well as the beginning stages of glaucoma. I did not realize that visine is a huge contributor to the health of ones eyes. Perhaps it's because I use it daily, My eyes become addicted to it, or so I feel. I love visine, it brings my tired eyes to life, but good in moderation.

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Angel Mist

My go to scent on a warm summer night

There is something calming and relaxing about Victoria's Secret heavenly scent. The body spray is light enough to spritz all over. I normally use it over a non scented body oil so the smell stays a little longer. Does not dry my skin out too bad (even though it has a high alcohol content). I only buy it during the semi annual sales so I can stock up for pennies on the dollar.

TanTowel Evolution

Color is not great

I used these tanning towels in a crunch. When going on vacation, I did not want to go through TSA with a bottle of self tanner so I figured these little towels would be perfect. I am not sure if it the color of my cool skin, but the color looked unnatural and it felt messy applying. I give it some stars for convenience, but not a great review for color and price. I'll stick with my clarins or neutrogenia.

Dior Addict

Sexy and addicting!!

I am drawn to perfumes that release that "come to me" aroma and Dior has nailed this potion right on. The scent is sultry, sexy and lingers. It is not overpowering and the bottle is exotic looking. I rated this perfume 9 out of 10 only because I find that the scent starts to smell different after a year or so. Could be the chemistry, I do try to keep my scents in a cool dry location away from sun or temperature fluctuations. I've just learned to use it even when I'm sitting at home, women do not need an excuse to fel beautiful !! Price is higher, but you get what you pay for !!
