Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation with Skincare Ingredients
The foundation I've been searching for...
It is hard to find a good foundation. It is even more difficult to find a good foundation based off of recommendations and reviews. If you have light, dry, sensitive skin and you are looking for a foundation to cover up flaws and redness, this is a good foundation to try first. For awhile, I was using a Smashbox foundation that was OK. I thought it was my face that couldn't be fixed, but once I was introduced to Pur Minerals 4-in-1, I fell in love. It gave my face a clean, air-brushed look, and evened out the color of my face. I do not go anywhere without this foundation on my face. I would say be careful, though, because it can get cakey (especially over acne or scabs), but overall, it makes my face look three times better. Also, I have very sensitive skin, so it is important I find products that don't irritate or dry out my skin. This foundation is very light and feels natural on my face.

A few years ago, my friend from France stayed with my family in America. Because it is European custom to bring gifts to the host, everyone in the family received something from France. I received Madame. I don't necessarily like when other's buy me fragrances without trying them out first; however, this fragrance was amazing. It sat on my skin perfectly and everyone loves the smell. I brought the fragrance to France with me, when I visited my friend's family, and told her it was my favorite perfume. I wore it everyday, and ever since I have associated this smell with the beautiful city of Paris. For awhile, I wouldn't use it in the summer because I associated it with the winter and fall. Now, I use it all the time and it defines me. I love this scent and it brings back memories of my travels to France. I didn't know it was possible to become so attached to a scent.

I have been searching for a great base coat, but this was not it. I have naturally hard, fast-growing nails, but they are very dry and brittle. I also needed a base coat that would protect them from my constant painting. I heard good reviews about this product, so I bought it. Unfortunately, it increased the dryness of my nails, making them more brittle. Also, my nail polish soaked right through the base coat and stained my nails. After I stopped using the product, it took awhile for my nails to go back to normal. Now I have over half of a bottle and I don't know what to do with it.

I am a nail polish addict. When Fuzzy Coat came out, I was so excited! I couldn't wait to get my hands on a bottle. I bought Peach Fuzz. It looked pretty cool on, but I wanted my nail to look fuzzy. I needed four coats to get the effect. It took me forever to get it off. I ruined my nails by soaking them in acetone, but it was the only way. It takes the pains of removing glitter to a whole new level.

This $8 base coat is definitely worth your money. It dries fast and protects your nails from the harsh nail polish chemicals. I did get a little discoloring on one or two nails, but I paint my nails once--sometimes twice-- a week, so it's understandable. I've gone through a number of base coats and so far this one is the best. Even my boyfriend noticed how healthy my naked nails looked (go figure). My nails are very hard and brittle so I always need something to moisturize them. I picked this one off the shelf at CVS because it was on sale for around $6. That was definitely one of the best $6 I've ever spent.
