Works Really Well!

I've been using this retinol cream for about 2 months and the results have been fantastic! At first, I did get some peeling and sensitivity, but I stuck it out and I'm, SO glad I did. After about a month, I noticed my skin getting softer and more subtle. Some of the redness and blotchiness I had started to fade away as well. Now after 2 months, I've even started noticing that my fine lines and wrinkles are being diminished. It's not like they're completely gone or anything, but they definitely seem a lot less noticeable. I've even had a few people at work comment on how good my skin looks! That's the real true test of a wrinkle cream-- when other people start noticing! Anyway, I used the half strength and started out using it 2 times a week. After some of the irritation disappeared, I bumped that up to 3 times a week. I actually plan on using this for an entire year. I read somewhere that retinol creams can continue to do their work for up to that long. I'm really excited to see the results as they seem to be getting better and better. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of this retinol treatment and recommend it to just about everyone!

Tanceuticals CC Self Tanning Body Lotion

The Best :)

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Tanceuticals? I am absolutely in love with it just like a lot of fellow self tanners who have posted here already. I tried it 4-5 months ago in their "Dark" version and have used it ever since. Right away I knew it was going to be a winner! The smell was just soooo delicious. Putting this smooth lotion on was super easy. It blended easily and didn't make my skin feel wet all night like most self tanners I've tried. I actually left it on all night and then showered it off about 8 hours later in the morning. Looking at myself in the mirror the next morning is when I fell in love with this product. It gave me the most natural, bronze shade of tan I've ever got out of a bottle. Perfect! There really weren't any "cons" with Tanceuticals except maybe the bottle could be a little bigger. But then again, it was only about $25 so it was pretty affordable. Overall I love it and will continue using this as my go-to self tanner! I also recently began using their "face" self tanning product and feel like it's a perfect compliment. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth just like the body lotion!

Ole Henriksen Blue Blackberry Enzyme Mask

Great Mask

I sit here writing this review as I have this mask on my face. I love, love, love this mask. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to, because it was kind of hard to wipe off and I didn’t see any immediate results. I was proved wrong when I woke up the next day with a new glow to my skin. I’ve always had problem skin (acne), so I am cautious when trying new products. This one didn’t make me breakout at all. It smells like lavender, which is so soothing ( I love this scent). It’s very easy to apply, it is a very thick gel. The only thing I don’t like is that you kind of have to scrub in order to get the mask completely off (it’s pretty sticky). Once you apply it, your skin will immediately have a cold feeling, I love this part. That goes away after a few minutes though. I usually leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it off. You won’t see immediate results, but my skin always looks so nice the day after I use this mask. I now use it 2-3 times a week and it’s become a staple in my skincare routine….you can’t go wrong with this one.

Comodynes Sunless Tanning Towelettes

Not Great

I tried using these after reading a review somewhere about them. Overall, I really didn't like the way they worked. The main problem i it takes 2-3 towels to cover your entire body. After you consider how much they cost, this is a VERY expensive way to self tan your body. The color I got after using these was pretty light overall. I generally prefer a darker tan; so these simply didn't work very well for me, They did smell pretty good, so there's no issue there. And they were kind of easy to use-- application wasn't too messy and I felt like I was able to cover everywhere I needed to cover. So I guess they weren't all bad! But the expense, combined with the relatively light color was just too much for me to overcome. I think there are a lot better self tanning options out there (especially lotions). Anyway, just my two cents ;)

Banana Boat Summer Color Self-Tanning Lotion

Great, Inexpensive Tanner

This is still one of my favorite self tanners! The color may not be perfect, but it's very good considering how much it costs. The smell is light and refreshing and it dries quickly. The color can get a little orange but it still looks fairly natural. I actually like their lighter version a little better. I generally prefer more expensive, department-store tanners, but this one works great in a pinch!
