I had used the three step kit 3 years ago for about 1 year after getting a severe break-out that would not go away. The kit worked at clearing my acne so I stopped using it after being acne free for a while. Something must have triggered my skin because the same severe acne came back. I started using the proactive kit again, now with the new formula. This time, there was no improvement in my acne and I now have acne marks (something I never used to get). What's more, my skin began itching like crazy from the moment I started using it. I kept at it for 2-3 months to see if it would improve, which it did not, and had to stop when I woke up one day with my face and eyes RED and my eyes were swollen to the point I could not see. I don't know if this is because of the new formula, but BEWARE before buying!!!!!

While this serum did moisturize my eyes, which could dry out from using proactiv, it made no difference what-so-ever to fine lines (which is the true purpose of this product)!

This mask is OK at treating acne. But it smells horrible, especially after you wash it off and apply the proactiv toner, kind of like the smell of a perm or relaxer!!! Something about when these two products are combines creates this very chemically smell! Also, when used as a spot treatment, I did not see any difference.

While this was a good moisturizer, I was told by a proactiv customer service rep. that it contains oils (is not oil-free) and to not apply it where I am oily because it could make me oilier. Because I am really oily everywhere, I would only use this were the proactiv would dry me out (usually my cheeks). It would moisturize the area, but sometimes I would get little white bumps (the kind you get from too much oil production).

This is not a peel, but rater a "roll away" mask. The instructions say that you are supposed to gently roll the mask away after it dries. However, there is no way for you to "gently" do this. After applying a thin layer (which the instructions specifically state), the only way to get this mask off is by rubbing it off REALLY hard (which just aggravates your skin and can cause more breakouts) or by washing it off (which does nothing to your skin). And even if you do rub it off, it still has no exfoliating affect and does not remove any blackheads. Don't waste your money buying this product!!

I have oily acne prone skin and while this product did controle the oil, it did nothing to control the acne. This is not a moisturizer, but a lotion that controls oil. Because my skin is so oily, I do not need a moisturizer, so that was not a problem for me. The lotion smells good and did a good job of making my skin matte when first applied and maintianing it oil free a little longer throughout the day, although the oil does eventually shin through. But it did nothing to control my acne (which is what I was told it would also do by the origins clerk), so if you ar looking for acne control, this is not the product for you!

I have oily acne prone skin and purchased this prouct to dry up my acne. It did noting at controling acne! The "potion" is white and harsh smelling. Once you apply it and it dries, it gets flaky and gets everywhere like white chalk! Also, once you first open the bottle, the liquid gets thicker and thicker and in about 1 month you can no longer use it because it's so thick, even though I still had half the bottle left. What a waste of money!! Horrible product and does absolutely nothing to dry up or control acne!!!

This night cream is more like a serum and it smells great. Great for moisturizing my dry areas, but I try to not get it on my T-zone (very oily).
