Eliminates slipping and sliding but also drying

I read great reviews on this product but was somewhat disappointed with what I got. PROS: So, first off, it definitely kept my lipstick in place. I used this lipliner with pretty moist lipstick and I saw a huge difference. Without the lipliner, the lipstick slips and slides around whenever I rub my lips together. When I applied the lipliner, though, the lipstick sat much better on the lips. I don't like reapplying lipstick over and over so I was glad to see that it also lengthened the wear of my lipstick. When I used it to fill in the lips, it also got rid of that icky look with lipstick seeping into the lines in my lips, which was great! CONS: The product is pretty drying. It made my lips feel parched. I'm not sure if that's just the side effect of the liner sealing the lips from the lipstick, but I didn't like the feel of it. Unfortunately for me, I have fairly sensitive lips and they ended up going numb for a good two days. My only other complaint was the smell. The smell of the lipliner, at least the clear one I bought, reminds me of the smell of kindergarten paste. Maybe I got a bad batch? OVERALL: Overall, I think it's an okay product. It does what a lipliner is basically suppose to do: keeps your lipwear in place and it does help extend lipwear by a couple hours. If you're thinking about trying it out I'd say go for it unless you've got lips that tend to be sensitive. Personally, I would not purchase it again just because I had a messy experience with it.

Bloom Cosmetics Shimmer Lipstick

Amazing lipstick, a definite must try!

The Bloom lipstick is the best lipstick I have tried to date. The one I purchased was Kissable with a Shimmer finish. PROS: One of the great things about this lipstick is that it's very moisturizing. One of the problems I have with lipstick is that they often dry out my lips but it was definitely not a problem with this. CONS: The only downside to this product is the cost. I bought it at $20, which is a bit much for lipstick in my opinion. I've been looking for a replacement lipstick to the one I have but have yet to find one that is more reasonably priced with such excellent quality. Overall: Overall, I think this is a great product and a definite must try if you're looking for a lipstick that won't dry out your lips. Again, I have only tried the Shimmer finish in Kissable and have not tried the other finishes so do not know if it is the same for all Bloom lipsticks. For me, this lipstick has set standards in quality that I now compare all the lipsticks I try with. I would definitely buy this product again.
