This is my first ever Tarte product. It's creamy so it glides on your lips. Love that it's not sticky in the slightest. The color doesn't remain vibrant on the lips too long, but I've noticed that after it disappears I can still detect a hint of color. This will be my spring go to lip color. Reminds me of a sheer version of MAC's Candy Yum Yum. The draw back for me is the minty smell/taste previously mentioned. It's more of a smell factor for me. It reminds me of bargain make-up kits my mother used to buy me when I was five. Despite that I wouldn't hesitate to repurchase.

First I have to say that the smell of this mask is EVERYTHING to me. It reminds me of being on the beach in Nassau with a cocktail in my hand, lounging with my girls. Needless to say it's tropical. I may be on an episode of strange addiction sniffing my Carol's Daughter. I first received this as a sample and I instantly fell in love, but I tend to be fickle...and cheap, or at the very least thrifty. Due to the at home color experimentation I'd tried my hair was damaged. The mask was very creamy and rich. The product claims 90% less breakage after one use. I wasn't experiencing breakage at this point so that was a non factor for me. However, my hair was so soft, so smooth and smelled great. The full sized version was around 30 bucks so I decided to try another mask from Pantene. I'm very fond of the version from Pantene too, but as I continued to color my hair it just didn't preform like I needed it too. A short back story on my hair: Naturally I'm a thick wavy brunette with loads of red tones. I decided come heck or high water I was going to be a blonde. I used FIVE boxes of lightener (within the span two months) before my hair was uniformly bleached. My hair is(was) a fried, crispy mess. Since Pantene wasn't cutting it, & my local Ulta picked up Carol's Daughter I decided to give this another go. I paid $29.00 and received another sample w/ purchase. The directions call for this to be used once a week. With the current status of my hair I use it at least twice a week. I have noticed less brakeage, but I have doubts about 90%. With out this mask I don't think I would be able to present myself to the public. For me this is a Godsend and I dare say I'll continue to use this once my hair returns to it's natural glory.

Hearing this primer was a cult fav I decided to pick some up after running out of my staple primer by OFRA. After using an eye primer in general I don't think I'll ever be able to go sans primer again. OFRA is slightly more expensive and I can only order it online. I hear there have been changes to the Primer Potion packaging. My tube has a nice needle nose type despenser, very easy to squeeze out small amounts so not to be wasteful. I love the fact that this seems to dry as soon as you smooth onto lids. It also disappears against my fair skin. OFRA primer is an old school creamy white deal. The first litmus test I tried with the Primer Potion was just a normal day of neutral shadow. 8 hours later my eye make up was just as vibrant as when originally applied. The next day I used the primer underneath a loose powder. I ended up mowing my grass in 80 degree weather. This was not my original intent, but to my surprise my eye make-up stayed put. Greatly impressed by this feat, the third day I tried the primer underneath my nemesis, creamy eye shadow. While the eye shadow did seem more vibrant w/ the primer vs itself alone, two hours later I did notice creasing. Generally I don't wear creamy shadow on my oily lids for this very reason. Perhaps when this tube is finished I'll test run Too Faced. I hear they have a good primer. All in all I'm very satisfied with what Urban Decay has handed me so far.
