Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Nice and gentle

Most scrub exfoliaters (even those that claim you can use them daily) are just a bit too harsh for my face and I don't tend to buy them anymore. I find this product is perfect for gentle exfolation, keep it in my shower and use it every few days after cleansing. I don't think it's a miracle product, I personally don't notice any long term changes to tone or pigmentation. But does the job of a nice gentle exfoliant. You have to be careful not to get water in the container though.

Not for younger skin

I just wanted to try a new night cream... but this was definitely not for me. I'm 29, and nothing I've ever used has made me break out like this. Just in 2 days small congested bumps all over my forehead and chin. Horrible. And super thick and gluggly. Paid full price for this and really wish I hadn't. Maybe good for more dry/aged skin, but would not recommend for younger skin.

Shiseido The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam

A little goes a long way

I know it's expensive, but you hardly need any, foams up nicely and removes all impurities very easily. I got a little sample, used it all up so bought the real thing. My skin is fairly reactive, and so far, it has been super gentle while making my skin feel super clean. Not for people who don't like that 'sqeaky clean' feel - but I love it at the end of the day, i know it works, and it's not at all drying.

EmerginC Vitamin C Serum

Great product

I love this product. I recommended it to my mother too, who now uses also uses it regularly. I apply it at night, takes about 10 minutes to dry. In the morning my skin is smoother and brighter, with more even tone. I'm pretty bad at using products on a regular basis (shift work does this), so after 8 months I still have more than half of it left - and it still works! - Unlike other serums which seem to have a super short shelf life. I think it's the consistency that makes it last longer, even if it does leave your skin slightly tacky, this doesn't matter so much to me while I'm sleeping. I let my 21year old friend try some last night (who hasn't switched from proactive sadly) and she messaged this morning raving about her skin.
