Lavera Make Up Fluid Naturel

Uneven and difficult to blend.

I chose this product because of its natural ingredients. While I found that it lived up to it's "sensitive skin" claims (my skin was pleased with it and didn't react), the application was a bit tricky. I found it seemed to separate a bit, while blending. Possibly this could be helped by a good sponge, but I don't want my makeup to be that high-maintenance. Get help when picking a colour, too - the names don't quite correspond with what I consider to be my skintone. Very nice smell, and light feel. Low coverage.

Aveda Uruku Cheek Lip Creme

Gorgeous application and that unmistakable Aveda scent!

I love this product for cheeks! As a lip Creme, I find it a bit too matte, but that's just a personal preference. For cheeks, the product is very easy to blend and apply, unlike many of it's chalkier competitors. It's creamy enough that it gives cheeks a bit of a glow but doesn't look greasy. Unlike a lot of cheek and lip stains, it's easy to clean up after application, but it still has great long-wearing power. As with all Aveda products, it has a subtle minty smell to die for!
