I have to say I've threaded, tweezed, and waxed. They all hurt! It was surprising that this worked so well. The balm gets rubbed on for 20 seconds in a circular motion and a thick layer of cream. Wait 5-8 min but don't exceed 10 min. then vuala its done. Just rub off. I have to admit the first time I tried it it left some hairs I did the min I think 6min ( I have thin hair). I tried it on an in-law and it came out perfect . I left it on her for the full 10min.(She has thicker hair). Its a must buy! You will love it. But don't put on twice to get any forgotten hair. It will burn you. It won't be pretty its like dotty burns. Trust me I made that mistake the first time I used it. I didn't think it would work but I'm a believer now. Enjoy and save money.

I used this had to look it up because I lost the directions. It does work sort of. Its pretty much for those who barely have any dry lips. Only worked on the parts that weren't rough. Like I said I looked up the directions after I found under it the studies. After reading the results I will never use this again. Not only was it tested on animals they grew tumors (cancer). I highly suggest this be a no buy. I would post the link but it wouldn't let me just google sally hansen gentle peel for rough lips directions and see what your results are.
