After biting my nails for most of my life I was finally able to quit. The habit left my cuticles very dry and in bad shape. As my nails started to grow I haunted a lot of nail blogs. Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme was mentioned so often I thought I'd give it a try. It's been a week and I can see a huge improvement. The tin is small, but a little goes a very long way. The tin can be hard to open, but one of those metal nail files you get in a mini kit works great. To me it smells like a lemon meringue pie. The price is very reasonable, it was under $6 at Wal-Mart. As others have mentioned it is a little greasy, but the greasy feeling goes away quickly. I have my manicure supplies next to my chair and will use this when I'm watching TV. After rubbing it in I wait a bit and rub whatever hasn't sunk in into my hands. Not only has my cuticles improved, but my hands have gotten softer. I highly recommend this product and plan on getting a backup today.

After I got Black Mesh I decided to get Platinum Pieces. I love China Glaze and this was no exception. It is a sparkly crackle that does better over darker colors. With light colors it is a bit hard to see. I had to knock a star off because when I tried to apply a thin coat for a fine crackle it was hard to see the base color. A thick coat works best and looks amazing. I plan on wearing this a lot during football season over Liquid Leather to sport my team colors. I got it at Sally's Beauty Supply in a buy 2 for $10 deal so the price wasn't that bad. I'd like to go back and get the rest of the Metal Crackle collection.

I started using this on the recommendation of my tattoo artist. I love how well it moisturizes. I generally use it when I don't want my lotion to interfere with my perfume. Since it's unscented it gets used by the guys in my house. My youngest son grabs it whenever he has a sunburn and doesn't peel as bad. I like the way it absorbs into the skin and doesn't feel greasy. I also like to mix a little of it with my foundation on days I want to do a natural look.

The first EcoTools brush I bought was the angled blush brush. I loved it so much I went back and bought them all! I love how soft the brushes are on my face. One of my pet peeves is stiff brushes. I love how this brush picks up the perfect amount of powder and covers so easy The fact that they are inexpensive and good for the environment is a great bonus. If you don't have these brushes I highly recommend running and getting them now.

Strong Adhesion Base Coat is my go to. After it dries it feels a little tacky, which to me holds the color polish better. Before using this after a couple days my mani would peel and chip. As a former nail biter this was bad. Since using this I don't peel or chip for a week. It might last longer than that, but I change colors weekly. I highly recommend this.

I thought this was a fun look and easy to use. Probably my favorite thing about it was when I got a chip in my polish I was able to re do that one spot and no one could tell there had been a problem. I got it in black and platinum and want to go back for more colors.

I bought this last week and I'm so happy with it. The color in the bottle is what goes on my nails. I really like that because there's nothing worse than putting on a new polish and it not looking like what's in the bottle. I liked that 1 coat covered my nails beautifully. From now on this is the only polish I plan on buying.

Maybelline New York Mineral Power Finishing Veil Translucent Loose Powder
Mineral Power Finishing Veil
I got this because my friend swears by it. After trying it I gotta say she's on to something. When I use it with foundation it sets it beautifully, and looks great when used by itself. I love that it has no sparkle and works wonders controling shine in Oklahoma humidity. This is now a staple in my makeup bag.

I don't have the Flared, just the regular Falsies in black drama. my lashes are naturally long and black and this gives them an extra bit of definition. I haven't had any problems with this and love the end result. The wand took a bit of getting used to, but once I figured out how to use the spoon shape I got everything I expected and wanted to ot of this product. I will definatly be buying this again.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush
Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush
Physicians Formula is my go to brand. I was so happy when I found this. The color payoff is amazing and it is easy to build up to the perfect amount of color. Since a little for me goes a long way this lasts me a long time. The only problem I have with it is keeping my bff away from it. Until she gets her own she always tries to snag mine.
