I absolutely love this product. I am new to the foundation world and having had some pretty bad breakouts from a certain brand of cosmetics (who shall remain nameless) I was in lieu of something that wouldn't give me that "caked-up" up appearance. I found myself at the Bobbi Brown counter and in complete happiness. This product works great on my dry skin during the winter months. The color matches my skin perfectly (which is often a strong for women of color) and when used with a stippling brush, it goes on like a dream. The only problem I have with it, is it makes me look a bit greasy in photos but that problem can be taken care of with a bit loose translucent powder. I don't think you get enough for your bucks but a little bit actually goes a long way. I love BB for this!

This mascara is just "okay" for me. The brush is too clumpy and that makes the overall application on the lashes look a hot mess. At least, for me. I didn't get much volume or length.

Although I am constantly reviewing mascaras, one that always has a permanent spot in my train case is the Great Lash. Some hate it, others love it and I think it's just a great staple. The brush is workable and with my "all over the place" lashes, this mascara really gets them out. Volume is eh..but it is pretty fab in terms of lengthening. I can dig it!

I know some people get caught up in products simply because of the name. I try not to be bias to MAC products just because ..."it's MAC". However, I can't deny the wonderfulness that is the lip conditioner. I have yet to find another balm that is as moisturizing as this baby here. It has a light coconutty smell but it isn't too over-powering. I love the way it feels. So much that I use it after brushing my teeth in the morning and before I go to bed at night. The price is a little steep, but it will last you a good 4-6 months. Plus, it has the the SPF for extra sun protection which is always good. Love love love it!

I used this product with another 3 products. It came in a set. This was my favorite. It literally zaps pimples. A bit on the expensive side but it is worth it.

I was hesitant at purchasing this relatively pricey compact, but I couldn't stop staring at the beautiful strips of color. When applied to my warm toned skin, I feel in love! This is perfect for summer and I love how it compliments my skin without being "too much".

By far the best concealer that I've ever tried. I don't even have to wear foundation.

This product was given to me by my Mother who didn't like it for herself. Being that I am dry and dark skinned AND not a true foundation wearer, I was hesitant at trying BareMinerals. But it actually works for me. Like most mineral foundations, it gives me that "doesn't feel like make-up" feel and it blends in relatively well with my skin. I've been wearing it during the winter months and my normally dry skin has not had any problems. I'll buy again!

I can't say that I enjoyed using MAC's Prep + Prime. For one, it didn't work too well with darker skin. As a NW45, it left a white cast on my face that could be seen even through my make-up. I'm also not sure if it is good with powder or cream foundations. I didn't see the difference it made when putting MAC's StudioTech on top of it.

If you're like me and have decent lashes in length, but they are just sparse and all over the place, L'Oreal Telescopic may work for you. Because it has the 3D want, it takes some practice getting used to but it does a pretty decent job at getting all of your lashes to "wave" in the same direction. It is definitely worth a try.
