I love this primer. Its light going on, feels like its really protecting your skin as it does. Holds foundation in place, and during the summer I was only doing primer, concealer and powder, and it looked fantastic then too. As far as anti-aging, I don't really know. But I know I love this product!

Revlon ColorStay Active Light Makeup
Perfect if you never have over-oily skin, and never sweat and never touch your face
I think Revlon makes colorstay for mannequins. It does what it says, it stays put for the most part, but as soon as I touch my nose (where most of the oil in my face is) it rubs right off. Which leaves me with drunky-red nose by the end of the day. Fantastic look for work, btw.

I bought this on the recommendation of the sales girl (i know, I'm prolly a sucker). I love that it foams up into a cleanser, and the smell is unique (i like it, but i bet some people don't). It doesn't leave my skin too dry, which is great, but the scrubbing bits are jagged and uneven, and can sometimes hurt if you get a little overzealous in scrubbing. I like it, but I won't be rebuying.

I've tried both the pressed shadow and the star powder from Makeup For Ever. I love them ALL. The colors are sooo vibrant and beautiful, especially for someone like me who yearns for bright shadows. I have a really bright lemony yellow in the pressed shadows and I find myself using it almost every day. Its so easy to blend with other eyeshadows, even the cheap ones. The star powder I have in neon pink and bright cyan blue. They blend together well, and with the yellow and with other shadows too. The only complaint I have for the pink (it doesn't seem to be the case with the blue and yellow) is that it stains my eyelids, even with a thick application of primer. But that doesn't stop me from using it all the time :) My favorite shadows, by far!

I picked this up because it was cheaper than the mascara I went into Sephora for, and highly rated in their "last rating" section. It said it was great for length and volume. I've discovered its pretty good on both counts. But that was about a month ago, and the mascara's not doing as well now. Its started to clump and to be more difficult to get dramatic results with. I will say this, I like that I can have varying amounts of lashes. If I want something professional or for daytime wear, I just apply one or maybe two coats. But if I want lots o' lashes with volume and length, I can have that too, just have to apply more coats. In the end, its not perfect, its not the best mascara ever or the worst. Its one of the cheaper high-end products on the market though, so bear that in mind. In the end though, you can probably get the same results with a much cheaper drugstore brand.
