This combines my favorite two face products and works wonders! The highlighter/bronzer action gives you a slight glow with a bronzy finish. Fantastic!

Benefit Lipscription

Fabulous and not just for gals!

I don't know any other product out there that is specifically a lip exfoliant and I love the lip balm. Yes, you have to reapply a lot to keep them moisturized but isn't that kind of the point? My fiance saw me using the exfoliant and was curious and tried it. He's hooked and it's pretty funny watching this 6-foot guys guy use my benefit product but it does make his lips soft and pretty!

Benefit Benetint Lip & Cheek Stain

Subtle Addition

Benetint is a fantastic way to enhance your usual blush and/or bronzer. Using it alone is good if you want a VERY subtle glow but I prefer to layer with my Chanel powder blush. The Good: Adorable packaging as usual from Benefit. Great for subtle looks, and subtle lip stain. Love layering this product over blush for an extra glow. The Bad: Tissue anyone? It stains your fingers so put it on near a sink!

Chanel Extracils Super Curl Lengthening Mascara

I am a fan of anything that says it will make my lashes longer and I'm a total Chanel snob...yes I buy every single "limited edition" product, I'm a department store saleswoman's dream. So knowing that I typically buy Chanel, I'm sad to say I'm not a fan of Extracils. The good: Not clumpy The bad: I bought this product at Neimans and then exchanged it for another tube since I thought my original purchase was faulty. After applying the second tube I realized the product is just not as great as it seems. The main problem: flakes! I was constantly getting little chunks and pieces of the stuff stuck to my contact lenses. When I went back to Neimans to tell the Chanel counter they were shocked but said they heard similar complaints. Summary: Love Chanel, hate their mascara products

Dior Diorshow Black Out

Diorshow Blackout

I am obsessed with long lashes; and by long, I mean freakishly long and thick. After going the eyelash extension route for about three months and subsequently spending my lifesavings, I sought a more cost effective option. The good: Diorshow Blackout is the closest I've found to "faking" fake lashes. A good run-in with a curler (like Trish McEvoy) and a few sweeps of Diorshow Blackout mimics the thickness and length of lash extensions. The bad: I bet you can guess what happens when you use mascara meant to lengthen and thicken to the extreme; yup, clumps. However, this only seems to happen after about 2-3 weeks of using the product. So for me spending about $30 a month on mascara vs. $300 a month for extensions is a fantastic deal. Plus I live 3 blocks from Nordstrom so it's not a big chore to replace it.
