Granny Smith Packs a Punch

I don't expect much from non-prescription exfoliants but for regular clarifying, Zia Apple hits the burn mark. The scent took me straight to Granny Smith apples at first, but then the fruit acid kicked in. Women in their twenties might balk at using a product this strong or one where the product info is all about lines and sun damage, but I think it is a perfect age group for a once a week mask, more often for women in their 30's. After 40, it's just as much about the scent as it is about a bit of a slough. I didn't break out after use, and my skin feels soft, so there is peeling going on. I've certainly spent more for otc and gotten less. I'll give it another two weeks and report back. So far, I'm impressed that the company combined a strong feeling natural peel product with a pleasant, familiar scent.
