I use it on my eyelids as a primer to give my eye lids a blank slate. this allows the true colors of the shadown to show through because you aren't starting out with reddish lids. Don't have to use it on other parts of my face, and I don't think it was intended for face. You use regular concealer for coverup.

It is not a powerful highlighter. Very subtle. You may have to apply 2 coats. It's ok, but not great.

These are the best, and they are not pricey. They are highly pigmented. I use a primer with every shadow I use, and these shadows really stay on and don't crease or smear. Highly recommend.
