Sephora Nail Polish

Heck Yes!

I have #11 in Deep Deep Burgendy and i love it! The color is great and you get a lot of color with only a couple coats and a beautiful shine. It's also easy to apply and for four dollars, it's one of my favorite nail polishes. Distributes evenly with no displaced globs or nail polish. I only rate it a nine because it chips so easily, but brush on a topcoat and that takes care of that!

Origins Liquid Lip Shimmer

Summer yes, year round? No

I bought my first liquid lip shimmer in the summer and it was perfect. In Pink Bikini it was the most gorgeous peachy pink shade to complement how tan I was. However lip shimmer is a bit sugarcoated. More like big glitters. Once the color wears off you're left with it. While the color doesn't stay for long, the glitter certainly does making you look a little strange after eating. These also have peppermint for a tingly feel on the lips which some don't agree with but i personally really like.

Lancome Juicy Gelee

More Please!

I am a total sucker for packaging, so it was no wonder I was sucked in by these. These pots are so beautiful, the only downside is that the opening is not big enough for a kissy (just kissing the product), and with this type of gloss formula using your finger is no option, so a brush is mandatory. The color of these are gorgeous! They are sheer with no shimmer which I actually really love and they accentuate the lip color you already have which seems ingenious. The only major downside to these are the stickiness. Apparently massive shine comes with massive stick. It's a goopy consistency but once on your lips is almost like glue.

Benefit The Gloss

Perfect Formula Every Time

BeneFit really perfected the formula in this gloss. I have it in a couple colors including crystal which is the best clear gloss I've found yet. The gloss color that peeks from the packaging is exactly the color you get on your lips, taking the guess work out of purchasing and trying. The color stays on quite long for a gloss and looks so easily glamorous, yet the formula is so slick and smooth it's like the clear drugstore glosses I used to get as a girl, only much much better.

Love The Difference

These glosses, instead of the typical sponge applicator, have a smooth brush applicator which I very much appreciate! The formulas are gorgeous and deliver exactly what they promise. Color so beautiful and multi-dimensional your lips look 3D and gorgeous. The primary color In 3d is the most beautiful bright pink and the packaging is stunning. My only con with this gloss is the formula. It tends to be a bit goopier than regular MAC Lipglasses, leaving some extra goop on my gloss that I then have to blend in and apply evenly across my lips.

Origins Once Upon A Shine Sheer Lip Gloss

Mmmmmm

These sheer shades are perfect for any complexion. One particular one, Sheer Fruit Punch is owned by more than half of my immediate family (two of us caucasian and one a tan Indonesian.) They have names that perfectly complement their shades like Sheer Cola which is a deep brown and Sheer Ruby which is a perfectly pinky red. These all have shimmer in them, plus a peppermint feel and taste that makes lips not only gorgeous, but oh so tingly!

Where's My Gloss?

That's usually what I resort to saying as I stare at it hoping the gloss will finally come out when I want it too. I twist it four times, yet again and wait, watching like somehow it will transform into something completely different. This gloss takes FOREVER to come out into the brush. Aside from that, I love it. The colors are perfect, it has a great long lasting wear (aside from slight stickyness, god forbid cotton balls fly up to my mouth they would stick there forever), a yummy smell and come in such delectable shades such as vanilla, apricot, etc. I do love the brush applicator I find it so much chic-er than regular sponge applicators and makes placement that much more perfect. The waiting however really peeves me off, especially when I'm trying to apply quickly. That in itself kept this from being my holy grail lipgloss.
