It lives up to the promise of making my lashes more volumous, but there's definitely a trick to applying it so that you don't appear clumpy. You have you rotate the wand upward as you apply, so that the bristles have a chance to brush out any indiscretions. Otherwise, it gave me ample volume after only one coat. One downside is that it flakes more than some other volumizing mascaras that I've tried (Lancome Hypnose, Cover Girl Volume Exact, etc.). I noticed, however, that if I only applied a thin layer of mascara, it did not flake as badly. Therefore, it gives me great volume for daytime, but I switch to something else for evenings when I may want a thicker coat or more than one application to make my lashes look their fullest.

I would NOT suggesting putting the liner on dry, but once you master the wet liner, you are good! I love that I can finally create a cat's-eye kind of appearance that I just cannot get with most liners. The Black Onyx is my favorite because of the glimmer - it's not overbearing, but it does make my eyes "pop"!

I really love my Buxom Betty lip gloss. It is a bright red, but looks absolutely lovely when I'm wearing it. It makes my lips really tingy, which I'm not overly crazy about, but the color and shine is truly worth it.

I'd been using another microdermabrasion kit for a while, and while I loved the way it worked, it was really costly -- over $100 a bottle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Mary Kay's microdermabrasion kit (both Steps 1 & 2) works just as well as the more expensive stuff, and at a *third* of the cost. Though $30 still seems a bit pricey, it's much much cheaper than anything else of its caliber. All the products that I have tried that are cheaper are too rough and don't leave my skin feeling as soft and smooth.

When I first read that this creme was supposed to seal in moisture and block out style-ruining weather, I honestly thought it was just a bunch of hype trying to get me to spend more money. I sent for a free sample to give it a try without wasting any cash, and found that I was completely wrong about what this little bottle could do! I have very long, very fine hair that gets really staticky in the winter, and I have never been able to find a product to help tame the tresses. After using this creme, my hair is truly smoother and static-free on even the driest winter days. The only thing I have noticed is that I have to use more product on drier days than I do on days with more temperate weather, but I think that's a small price to pay to ensure my hair doesn't look like I just ran a balloon through it. Luckily, it doesn't make my hair sticky or stiff at all, so the extra creme really isn't a big deal. It's also moderately priced, which is extrememly helpful during a time when I'm cutting any profligate spending. I'm really looking forward to using the creme in humid summer weather to see if it holds to its promise of resisting humidity too.
