Clinique Different Lipstick

Good quality lipstick

I've been using Clinique Different Lipstick for 6 years and I love it. I'm extremely sensitive to smells, and this one does not have that "lipstick smell." It's a great lipstick, lighter than most. I still like putting gloss on over it because lipstick always feels dry to me. One random comment - the cap can lose it's grip after a while and fall off easily - leaving my purse liner decorated in red. Otherwise, it's a great lipstick!

Rave Reviews!

I have this in the "Rave Reviews" color. It is a very thick lip gloss, but very pretty. For more color during the weekdays, I usually put it on over lipstick. For a casual weekend errand run it's great by itself to brighten up your whole face.

Smashbox Backdrop Cooling Tint

Does a little

This is pretty good for people who have very little to cover up. It has very little coverage but is perfect for someone who wants a very light foundation. It can get a bit clumpy in the cap too. Okay product.

CoverGirl Clean Pressed Powder, Normal Skin

Cheap and Easy

This is the powder my mom used and I adopted it in my shade (Soft Honey). I like that it is so cheap but works very well to get rid of shine and lasts to about mid-day before you need to re-apply. It's a good value and it works.

LORAC Croc Palette

Versatile Beauty

This is a wonderful palette! I got it as a gift. I never used to wear much eyeshadow because it seemed more trouble than it was worth, but this palette is amazing! The colors worked well on me (brown hair/brown eyes) and both my former roommates (red hair/brown eyes, dirty blonde hair/blue eyes). They both went out and bought one for their own personal use. I’m not a huge fan of the blush because I’m used to liquids for my cheeks, but the eyeliners are amazing! Mix and match away!

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips

Fantastic!

I love this makeup remover. It takes off my eye makeup so easily - no scrubbing and making your eyes hurt. It is oil free, so it doesn't leave you feeling greasy or weigh down your lashes at all. Plus, you can re-apply makeup immediately after rinsing with a little water - hard to do with the oil-based removers. It separates, so you need to shake it, but it’s well worth the two second shake for the time you save by avoiding rubbing your eyes. Enjoy!

Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus

No Pain, No Gain

These strips do a great job of whitening your teeth. It is only a 10 day pack, so it's perfect for those last-minute cram-beauty sessions in preparation for trying to impress an ex, a high school reunion, or a big night out. However, these strips can really be painful around the third day. They can make your gum line very sensitive and possibly even bleed when brushing. Also, they can make your teeth extremely sensitive to the point that even touching your top and bottom teeth hurts a little bit, in addition to be sensitive to hot and (especially) cold. I have to say though, for me, it is worth it to see the difference in my smile. No pain, no gain!

Benefit Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer

Great for dark circles!

This concealer is definitely perfect for those with dark circles under their eyes. Unfortunately, it only comes in 3 shades, so it may not be a good match for most people. You should probably try in in-store first before purchasing. My favorite part of this concealer is that it lasts my whole 8-10 hour work day without retouching. It is very dry, thick concealer - not for the timid!
