I'm so sorry...I haven't had that experience at all....I love this brush! It's the first one I ever tried in the MARK brush line and I loved it right away. Mine were shaped just like the picture and just the right size too. Again, for me...shedding was not a problem...I think you got a bad batch...don't forget it can always be refunded. Anyway, I love it. I have one for dark colors and one for light. Shampoo and condition regularly...they get better.

the quality of these. Cheap, no dragging, self-sharpening, long-lasting....what more could you want? Other than more colors of course...hence the 8...

get tired of the finger application or digging out a brush...but that's just me. Wish we had some of those colors in another form though. Also didn't LOVE the scent.

Other than handle size I give them the same reviews as the full-size ones. Great set! I do wish they had covers though...particularly for the concealer brush...but I still like it.

Soft, works perfectly. None of my brushes have ever shed more than a hair or two...and none after washing. If for some reason you got one that shed too much (That IS NOT THE NORM) please return it for a full refund or better yet exchange it. Mine have proved better than any I've ever had and at a much better price point. Every couple of weeks or so treat them like your hair...shampoo...conditioner... rinse well (of course)..blot and lay flat to dry....they only get better. I have had a handle come loose ONCE out of all of the brushes I have from MARK. Again easy fix...return, or exchange, I just glued mine...didn't think it was that odd.

it feels great! I use it for applying powder buff...and oh my...it's like silk! Wash every couple of weeks or so (shampoo/conditioner like your hair) ...blot...and lay flat to dry. If it's difficult to remove your foundation residue try a clarifying shampoo like citreshine once in awhile. High Quality!
