    Kenzo FlowerbyKenzo

    Good formula iffy scent

I got this as a free sample from Sephora. I don't really like the way this smells, it's very flowery and powdery which isn't something I want in my fragrances. Plus the flower on the bottle looks like a poppy... I was kind of expecting a poppy scent. This smells like a sachet that you would put in your sock drawer, which is nice for socks... if you're 60. The formula is really good though, the scent last a long time which is more then I can say for a lot of the fragrances that I really like.

  • Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

I have to say I've tried this twice and it's not something I'm jumping for joy about, and I wouldn't say it's worth the money you have to spend on it either. I used it in my night time routine to wash away makeup and this formula is gentle enough to use on your eyes which is really nice... but it's too gentle. It does not remove water proof mascara or even all of my eyeshadow or foundation, I found myself using a second face wash just to get rid of all my makeup. It is not drying which is nice and does wash away greasiness in the morning and left over mascara from the night before (but that's after being in a hot shower for a while...). I'm not really a big fan of this product but I don't dislike it really either, just not impressed.

  • Benefit Watt's Up! Cream Highlighter

I received this as a free birthday gift from Sephora and I love it! I love it even without the little blending sponge that the full size comes with! The formula is smooth and creamy and applies in a nice silky swipe that is easily blended and doesn't stand out with too much shimmer like a lot of other highlighters. There's no obnoxious fragrance and isn't so heavy that you can tell you're wearing it, it's not noticeable it just creates a nice look no matter how much or how little you apply. I use mine just beneath my brows, my cupid's bow, my cheek bones, the bridge of my nose and sometimes around my eyes when I don't have giant bags beneath them! I normally avoid using a highlighter because I find myself stuck with ones that are too pink, have too much shimmer, sparkles(UGH), or ones that look like I have frosting all only my face (I won't name brands but you know who you are!!). I will be buying the full size product! Also I haven't tried it with the applicator but I don't really think one is necessary, this blends so easily with just finger tips there really isn't a point of the extra step.

  • Estée Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick

I recently went to my local Bon-Ton and stumbled upon the Bronze Goddess Collection, and I had to try it out. I picked up the new shade of Pure Color lipstick in Solar Crush, it is a bright bold pink-coral shade that is divine! I love it so much, and when I wear it, it's the highlight of my look! The formula is smooth and creamy, and the color is bright and pigmented and doesn't fade after hours of wear. I did find some transferred to my teeth though, but only when first applied and not again after that (happened every time but always within the first five minutes so it's easily fixable). However I did find that the lipstick really shows off creases in my lips if I only use one application, so I have to apply, blot, apply and blot again to get the color to set into creases. I have to say I love the quality and don't mind at all paying the higher price for something this nice. I own numerous other lipsticks and this is by far in my top ten favorites and I will definitely purchase more colors.

  • Arbonne About Face 10 Piece Precision Brush Set

I have only used the large blush brush, the fan brush, and brow brush and I've had a lot of trouble. First off the two brushes didn't seem to pick up any blush, I really had to go back and forth over my powder to get the brushes to pick up any colour. Also the large blush brush is broken already, the brush has completely disconnected from the handle. I may have gotten a faulty set :/.

  • EcoTools Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush

I didn't find this brush to be "great" but it's not horrible either, you just have to find a good use for it is all. First off I found it to be very soft... which is not a good thing for me. I need an angled brush to have some give, but not too much, and I found this had too much. Instead of being able to press on eyeshadow to make a line as I usually do, and then blend with the brush, I found the bristles to give and bend when I tried to use it to line my lids. The first few times I ended up with a nice straight line of shadow... across my eye ball. Once I wet the brush it worked slightly better, but still not the way I would have liked.

  • Maybelline New York Nail Colours Color Show Nail Polish

Yeah it's "chip resistant" alright, because it "Smushes" you apply the first streaky, thin, translucent coat and let it dry. Then you apply another coat and like the color only to realize after all is said and done you go to tie your shoe, look down at your nicely painted nails and see that your nails now have no color on the tips because the polish has been pushed down and is now in a nice lump in the middle of your nail.

  • Fresh Sugar Icon Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15

I received this product as a free birthday gift from Sephora and I will be buying the full sized in the colored as well. This product is like a luxurious chap stick, smells great and doesn't leave the usual nasty wax taste in your mouth. It soothes over chapped lips and work as a conditioner to soften and smooth your lips to perfection! Not only that it's long lasting as well and doesn't vanish after your first bite to eat.

  • Mary Kay Peach Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub

I love this product, it's a fantastic exfoliating scrub that I was addicted too after my son was born. All the chapped dry skin from constantly washing my hairs drove me crazy and this really kept the roughness at bay. Used along with the balm and moisturizer this product does wonders!!! I ended up picking this up at a garage sale on a whim and immediately bought a full priced one in fear that they may disappear like all my other so beloved discontinued items!

  • Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Total Moisture

I received this product not knowing exactly what to expect. I've had spray on moisturizers before, the type that are very watery and in a sort of body spray style. They are usually drippy and not super moisturizing. When I got this I admit I was pretty biased before I even tried it, I don't usually like a gimmick when it comes to something as simple as lotion. After the first try I was frustrated, it took a bit of getting use to, I usually apply my lotion one limb at a time rubbing it in before moving on to the next... you can't really do that with this spray (and honestly I don't think that they had that in mind). Also I made a huge mess on my tiled floor (almost broke my neck!). But that was the first try, second went a lot more smoothly when I knew what to expect, so instead of breaking between the spray to rub in the moisturizer I made sure that I sprayed all over myself before rubbing it in (the breaks made it really hard to spray again because it makes the can slick!). I also was more careful to make sure it misted on ME and not AROUND me. When I was done spraying I went to rub in and found that I barely needed to at all. It really does absorb quickly, leaving your skin moisturized but not wet! Only a little rubbing needed on the areas where a "puddle" may have occurred from too close a spray. It has a nice light scent that doesn't over whelm or end up on your clothes. It is also none greasy so it really feels like you have nothing on (without the cons of dry skin lol). The cons of this are that it does take some getting use to and I still ended up with a slightly slick floor. Now I have to say I don't think I would actually go out looking for this product, because while it is nice and I do like it, it does not provide the scent I'm looking for, like one would get say from Bath and Body works. Also I don't really have an issue with my normal lotions and I am not rushed for time either. However if I were say away from home where I need to rush, like at the gym for instance I would be apt to use this product because it is very quick to apply.
