Do you ever buy things at the drugstore and then get disappointed with them and they end up in a junk drawer? Well, this balm has singlehandedly renewed my faith in drugstore products. I only use the Peach one (it's in a purple tube). It's almost sheer and it smells like the apricot oil contained within. I use every tube down to the end and I go through a tube every 2 weeks. You know a product is good when it's sold out EVERYWHERE including ONLINE! I purchased an online order over a month ago and it's been backordered until today. This balm will revive dry, cracked lips that are painful and breaking. It is so luscious and gentle on your skin (even the skin around your mouth if you color outside the lines). I have big lips already, but after each application my lips are smoother, a little plumper (from being so fully hydrated) and flawless. I can't imagine anyone not loving this product if they try it. OH, and you can't beat the price (between $3 and $4 depending on where you purchase).

I am one of those lucky people who tends to get uber-chapped lips in the winter, and this is the only thing that seems to revive my lips when they get to that dry, cracking and painful to the touch point of (seemingly) no return. I agree with the other reviewers who say that it's moisturizing and feels good on. I prefer the Root Beer shade which is most flattering to my porcelain skin. Aside from the comfort and rejuvenating properties, it has some staying power. This is the gloss I can put on at bedtime after I brush my teeth and the majority of it is on my lips when I wake up in the morning, or still be on my lips after a midday swim. It's halfway between sheer and opaque, which is great because it doesn't look crazy if a little smears outside your lip line accidentally. For $13.50USD, you really can't beat it. If I had to guess, this gloss would be like a tinted Vaseline whereas Lancome's Juicy Tubes are like tinted silicone gel, if that makes any sense to you.

I absolutely LOVE this! I buy them five at a time because I can't live without it. I use it on my whole body (minus my face since it's coarse sugar meant for heavy duty exfoliation), and I am frequently told how amazingly soft my skin is. In addition to exfoliating with sugar, it also has scented oil that moisturizes your skin and scents your body. I literally don't have to use body lotion at all anymore because this scrub does it all. This is similar to the Fresh Brown Sugar scrub, but less than 1/3 the price and a larger container! I'd say this is one of my top 5 favorite beauty products of all time.

I've been burned by the drugstore products more times than I can count but I LOVE Revlon's lip butter. It is a near match in coverage, texture and moisture to Dior's old line of lipsticks. I love it so much that I actually wrote to Revlon to complain when it was hard to find when the product was first released. The lip butter is in a twist up tube which is nice because you don't have to worry about the lipstick breaking and becoming unusable. There's a range of wearable colors. Most neutral are Brown Sugar and Creme Brulee. Your lips appear much plumper and fuller whilst wearing this product, and there's a really nice shine / luster finish that combined with the abundance of moisture eliminates the need to top it with lip gloss. It's an AMAZING all-in-one lip product (balm, lipstick, and gloss all in one tube). It's actually really easy to apply so I can skip using lipliner also! The only fragrance is a subtle sugar smell, but otherwise unfragranced. This is one of the products that I would hoard in an emergency kit and it's great for travel to reduce the amount of products you're lugging around.

This is my new favorite mascara. It lengthens, adds thickness and all without looking clumpy or messy. If you're a fan of mascaras like Diorshow you'll like this mascara immensely.

Jemma Kidd Make Up School Color Match Concealer Duo
Heavy Concealer, but would be great if I had dark bags under my eyes, etc.
I tried this concealer because I like a lot of other JK Makeup School products. However the consistency is very waxy and heavy. The upshot is that it really does cover nearly anything you'd want to hide. For me, however, I don't need this heavy duty of a concealer, so I don't LOVE this product and I don't prefer a concealer that is so heavy.

I adore these glosses!! The gloss adds a wet look over lipstick that endures and sort of "seals in" moisture in your lips. The golden luster in this line is an added bonus and it's very flattering and adds an illusion of larger lips. The only drawback for me is the scent. I really don't like it personally. I read somewhere that the scent was identified as mango. It's a pretty strong scent if you happen to not be a fan of the smell. However everything else about it is so great that I wear it despite really not liking the way it smells.

You know when you find the "perfect" product (whether it's concealer, lip gloss, whatever) and you never want to use another? Edward Bess lipstick is that perfect product. I have tried every high end brand (I have an allergy to sodium benzoate, the preservative in a lot of drugstore lipsticks) and this is tied for first place in my mind. The lipstick applies with an amazing color payoff, a medium shine, and for the very first time ever, I found a creamy lipstick that doesn't disintegrate into a goopy useless mess at the bottom of the tube after a week of frequent use. It's WELL WORTH the price because I can use the entire lipstick tube without it breaking or melting. Even in these cold dry winter months, this lipstick keeps my lips moist eliminating the need for lip balm altogether. There are limited shade colors to choose from, but even I (extraordinarily pale) can find three that are neutral and flattering. Give this lipstick a try! You'll thank me later.

I really like this serum, but I can understand why it wouldn't be ideal for more mature skin. I would recommend to users in their 20s and 30s. For me, I use it under moisturizer and sunscreen. It almost immediately absorbs into my dry skin and brings it to a near normal (meaning normal skin type) condition. Since using it these last 6 weeks I've noticed that my finished face is more smooth and makeup lasts longer as my dry skin doesn't absorb my makeup anymore.

I received two deluxe samples of this cream and I wasn't expecting much as I have run the gauntlet with moisturizers. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is quick absorbing and a nice mid-weight moisturizer. I've been using it during a very dry winter and I apply it over a serum and the after effect is baby soft skin. Granted I have mostly very youthful looking skin so I don't need a ton of anti-aging properties, but I do require a significant SPF for any daytime moisturizer. That's the only reason I didn't score it higher. My skin type is dry fyi.
