Two years ago I swore off ALL shaving razors for women and have been using men's razors to get the close shave I've so desperately been searching for. Unfortunately men's razors aren't also made for women, Booo! But recently I was given the opportunity to try Venus Embrace and although I didn't believe it could change my mind for lack of a better word I decided to "Embrace" the idea of using women's razors again. The end result was EVERYTHING that I had been looking for! The first time I used it I felt the difference! The large padded area was perfect for shaving legs and large areas which men's razors aren't meant for. It also had phenomenal flexibility which allowed the blades to effortlessly glide over my curves without nicks or cuts. Plus the control and grip on the handle were also a big plus! This razor left my legs smooth, silky, moisturized and lookin' pretty hot! I've dumped my men's Mach 3 and recruited the Venus Embrace razor for permanent razor duty!

My newest fragrance obsession is YSL's Parisienne! It's a soft, floral and fruity fragrance that does not overpower. Recently I've been spritzing it on before work in the morning and by the time I come home at night I can still catch whiffs of the perfume on me. I know for some certain people certain fragrances go best with certain seasons but for me I can totally see myself wearing this perfume ALL the time! Whenever I wear it I feel super flirty and sexy. Its such a playful fragrance and I'm so very much in love! Fall in love too! Go buy it! :)

OK so lets see...I LOVE, love, love L'Oreal I mean who doesn't?! But they're newest invention Telescopic Explosion Mascara might be a little too "Futuristic" for me. From the outside of the bottle nothing looks amiss it just looks like a great tube of mascara but upon opening it I was immediately alarmed when I saw this long, flimsy, rubbery wand with a very, very small cluster of rubber bristles at the end. I assumed this was for people with half an eye!!! I thought there is no way my full lashes were fitting on this...turns out I was correct! You have to apply the mascara to your lashes several times in sections going back and forth to make sure all your lashes are coated. The wand seemed very unstable...maybe a little too flexible for my taste!? I actually bent the wand back a bit while I was applying only to have the wand snap back and pop me in the eye. The formula itself is pretty decent. Even though it was awkward applying the mascara my lashes are long and curly. They aren't sticky, stiff or crunchy and so far they haven't flaked either. I'm still not entirely sold on this product and I don't' think I would buy it again but I would definitely recommend it to any fearless makeup lover that isn't afraid of a mascara challenge!

Recently I tried of Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Collection and was a little disappointed. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Herbal Essences! Their "Breaks Over" and " Hello Hydration" Shampoo and Conditioner are the best! But here are my gripes with the "Tousle Me Softly" .My hair had no volume .My hair didn't curl or even achieve that "tousled" look .My hair was frizzy I truly don't know how this happened because I washed my hair and conditioned it using the "tousle" products then used the mousse and spray gel to add some curls and wave to my hair but nothing was happening. I scrunched and scrunched and broke out the blow dryer with the diffuser and was getting absolutely nothing....not even a wave. I was trying not to get discouraged because I NEEDED my hair to look cute since I was going out to a lounge in the city that night but no matter which way I held my head or how scrunched or diffused nothing seemed to be happening instead my hair was sticky and frizzy. I tried to add a little bit of the finishing cream hoping it would at least tame the frizzies but it just made my hair limp and greasy. So I gave up and ended up tying my hair back. Although the styling products in this collection unfortunately didn't work out for me the Shampoo and Conditioner did. The scent was really pretty and my hair was softer after using the conditioner. I will def continues to use these products and hope that other beauties out there have better luck than I did. :(

Looking for a little shimmer? I checked out ChapStick's new True Simmer in Botanical Berry ($2.79) and fell in love! After seeing the commercials for quite sometime I finally caved in and gave this baby a try. I'm a sucker for all types of chap sticks, lip glosses, lipsticks, lip stains, lip balms...seriously I have a massive collection. But this one is different. Not only does it smell divine and yummy but it doesn't taste bad and the shimmer is really pretty and subtle. Like on days where I don't (Gasp!) wear makeup or when I'm going to the gym this is a nice way to moisturize my lips and also make them look pretty! The shimmer is a pretty pale pink that brightens up my lips and my face! If your not much into the 'Berry' thing then try one of the many other FAB varieties like Tropical, Blended Fruit Sherbet or Peppermint Rush (Another one of my faves!)

Lipsticks either make me look older, feel older or just feel too stiff or dry...BUT not with my Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipcolor in "Rose Rage" I recently tried this wonderfully creamy lip color and was an immediate convert to the lipstick faith. It's packed with ultra rich conditioners and moisturizers but wears long and looks amazingly bright. All 20 colors are ridiculously vivid and stunning. This lipstick is so awesome is was chosen for Marie Claire's 25 Best Beauty Products Of The Year list. So definitely give this baby a try. I'm glad I did because before this I was so anti-lipstick!

I decided to finally try it and IT. WAS. AMAZING. I kid you not! This mascara is just as good as my beloved Cover Girl Lash Blast if not slightly better. It goes on smooth and even, coats ever lash and gives you mayjah drama, volume and curl. I absolutely LOVED it! My lashes stayed like this all day long and I even got tons of complements (Which I also LOVE) So do your lashes a favor and up your calorie intake with this amazing mascara!

Absolutely adored this conditioner! It left my hair conditioned and shiny but not weighed down. The scent is also very pleasant. It's sulfate free but still has a rich lather and is 100% Vegan! Yay!

So far I've only tried the Moisture shampoo and conditioner which worked wonderfully on my hair. leaving it clean, soft and shiny! The scent was amazing, Rosemary Juniper & Mint, it smelled so natural. I was also pleased to know that it does not contain sulfates which can be toxic and are extremely unhealthy. Plus the fact that I'm Vegetarian and the line is 100% Vegan was another plus! Loved it!

This is the next best thing to professional microdermabrasion! The first time I used it was a bit painful but by the second time I used it I was fine. It makes my skin baby soft while sloughing off dead skin and clogged pores. It's worked wonders on my oily/acne prone skin.
