This is an OK BB cream (or should I say, tinted moisturizer). There really aren't that many beneficial ingredients, such as antioxidants. But the coverage is good and it layers really well under foundations or concealer. I can't wear this alone though because it is too shiny. I have to dust loose powder over it. I've tried other BB creams that don't appear shiny and have additional, beneficial ingredients....so I probably won't repurchase this one. It's not a bad product, but it's not really worth the price in my humble opinion. Sorry Clinique.

I really liked the cooling effects this had as I applied it to my skin, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. It streaks when you try to apply it unless you blot it on. The brush it comes with is pretty bad, so I use my own big fluffy blush. It's a little hard to use this without making a mess. I empty some powder into my hand and twirl my makeup brush in it. Also, this tends to rub off my concealer or foundation that I wear under it, so I always have to do "touch ups" again with concealer after using this powder. That never happens with any other powder. I know it's the whole gimmicky water effect thing that causes it, but it's still sort of annoying. This is not mattifying enough for my t-zone. It still shines. The coverage is OK. On the bright side, it does look natural for the most part. Learning how to apply this without messing up your foundation underneath or without looking like a streaky mess is the tricky part. The only liquidy powder product that I ever liked was one by Physican's Formula made years ago. It has been discontinued unfortunately. I was hoping this would be close to it, but nope. I'll try the Revlon version of this next to see if I have better luck with that. Maybe the Revlon version won't leave me looking like a Sparkly vampire ;)

I use the Dark Brown color. At only about $3 or $4, you can't beat this value! It works as well as pricier drugstore brands. It doesn't damage my hair and it's a very budget friendly way of dying my roots every month. The conditioner that comes with it is amazing and leaves my hair so soft and healthy feeling! The color lasts a reasonable amount of time. I can't believe I used to spend about $30 to get my roots dyed at the salon when I can easily get the same result at home for $3!

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum With Retinol
Paula makes the best antioxidant serums!
Paula's Choice will always be my favorite brand as far as antioxidant serums go. I've tried all three of them and they all work great....and for a VERY reasonable price compared to the competition. This serum is chock-full of antioxidants and other beneficial ingredients for this skin. It also functions as a very good foundation primer and moisturizer. Antioxidants are very important for stopping free-radical damage and helping to block harmful UVA/UVB rays. So to have a product that provides this along with the aforementioned benefits makes this a must have product for me at all times. Even if this product were to cost twice as much, I'd probably still buy it because it's a staple in my routine and has multiple benefits.

I liked this better than the (much more expensive) Bare Minerals! It has great coverage, looks natural, and comes at a decent price. This is probably my favorite powder mineral makeup. I have recently switched to liquid foundation (because of my dry skin caused by Retin-A), but if I were to go back to powder, this would be the one. The only downside is that it's something messy and awkward to apply it, but I got better with practice! I would recommend this, the finishing powder, and the blush versions of Loreal's Mineral products.

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Green and Gorgeous 100% Natural 2-in-1 Bronzer and Blush
Breakout Central!
This made me breakout insanely badly! I had cystic acne covering my entire face!!! I must be allergic to something in here. Then again, mica and cornstarch aren't exactly good for your skin. I'm sitting here covered in acne cream hoping this nightmare will go away soon.

This powder is ok. It looks mostly natural and covers well. But it's definitely over priced and doesn't last very long. This powder somehow makes the pores around my nose look SO much bigger. I experience the same thing every time I come back to using Bare Minerals. It's also a little itchy and somewhat clogs my pores. It's also VERY messy to apply. The only thing I really like about it is that I can achieve full coverage relatively quickly. But I don't see myself buying this again. My pores can thank me later.

Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous All-Over Brightener and Dark Spot Corrector
Well, that was a lot of money to accomplish close to nothing!
Yes, this made my skin look somewhat "healthier" due to the antioxidants and such. But as far as lightening goes, I really didn't notice any difference with my pih scars and sun spots. Needless to say, I will not purchase this again. I tried this after being disappointed by two bottles of Clinique's Even Better Serum. Sigh. Just get a prescription for Retin-A by your dermatologist. You'll get much better results (and for much cheaper overall if your health insurance helps out). Now THAT is showing major improvement with my skin!

This is, hands down, the best drugstore retinol product. I no longer use it because I am on prescription Retin-A, but I would go back to this in a heart beat if I ever stopped with the Retin-A. Not only does this have potent amounts of retinol (at the right PH level), but it has many other beneficial ingredients. This and the Serum version of the ROC Multi Correction are your best bets for anti-aging, aging prevention, and for achieving healthier skin in general. After a few weeks you will notice a healthy glow, a more even skin tone, less fine lines and age spots, less PIH scars, and just healthier looking skin in general. If you use only one product after cleansing, use this. :::important note:: Ideally you should only use this at night, but if you use it during the day, be sure to use a good sunscreen on top of it! This will make your skin very sensitive to UVA and UVB rays..not to mention you'll be reversing any anti-aging benefits you are trying to achieve. Retinol and the sun do not mix.

This product is a nice blend of antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients. It doubles up as a foundation primer and doesn't clog my pores. This serum leaves my skin so silky and smooth feeling! The price is decent considering the long term benefits. My skin looks healthier after using this for a while. Don't expect immediate results though. This is definitely my favorite drugstore serum. My favorite non-drugstore one is the Paula's Choice Antioxidant serum. However, I strongly prefer picking up products in the store as opposed to ordering online, so this is my go-to product when I'm at Walmart. It also goes on sale a lot, so give it a try if you catch it on sale.
