Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Flawless Wear Concealer
I don't know why I bother trying anything else
I always come back to this concealer. It is 99% perfect --covers well, lasts all day, and doesn't make me break out. My ONLY complaint is that the shade range is limited. No options for super-pale (like me), very dark, or Asian skin. But really, this is better by far than any of the other 10,000 concealers I've tried over the years. Even ones costing twice as much aren't as good. PLEASE ESTEE LAUDER DON'T EVER DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT!!!

I usually use rock crystal deodorant, but during the summer or when I'm really active, the wetness feels icky. So I bought this because it was the cheapest, and all I really wanted was to stay dry. The Tropical Sunset variety smells nice, but halfway through the day I start to get kinda stinky. And...moist. Coconut-scented BO...not pretty. Also not pretty: white chunks clinging to your armpits after application. Back to the crystal, which, while it does nothing for wetness, actually does control odor for a full 24 hours. (Try it!)

I really like this mascara -- it has replaced Maybelline Great Lash as my go-to favorite. The consistency is not super-thick so it doesn't clump and cake nearly as much as regular mascara. It provides lots of lengthening, though not much thickening (but that's what I prefer) and manages to look REALLY natural while still adding color and definition. I have very minimal smudging and flaking by the end of the day. As long as L'Oreal keeps making this, I will keep buying it!

This lotion does an adequate job of moisturizing and, I assume, sun-blocking, but the price you pay for the tiny amount you get is ridiculous. Seriously, the tube is shockingly small -- sample-size small! Anyway, it smells pleasant (cucumber-y), is very light and absorbs easily, and doesn't make my skin immediately greasy. Makeup goes on well over it. But there are so many products out there that are just as good, if not better, for less than half the price at more than twice the amount; why waste your money?

This is a very good basic eye moisturizer. It is thin like a lotion, not thick like a cream, so it's easy to pat on without stretching the delicate skin around your eyes. I tend to have allergic reactions on my eyelids, but this does not irritate at all, and it does seem to moisturize well. But I've been using it religiously for three months and have not seen any difference in the lines, dark circles or puffiness under my eyes. No rejuvenating or illuminating effects at all. Boo :-( But still, it's pretty good if you just need moisturizing.

Let me start by saying that I generally like Aubrey products. I was sure this cleanser would be great, but it somehow managed to irritate my skin and dry it out like crazy (and my skin is somewhat oily). I tried just using it once a day, but it still dried me out. It does not remove makeup well, but if you don't wear much I guess that wouldn't be an issue. I don't understand how a cleanser meant for sensitive skin would be so irritating to my non-sensitive skin, but...well, such is life. Anybody want my unused bottle?

Worked perfectly to remove makeup, and did not irritate my eyes or skin at all. Just left my face feeling smooth, soft and comfortable. I will definitely buy this again and again. Bonus points for being fun to use, and cheap!

I am impressed with this cleanser's ability to reduce blackheads (I saw a difference after one use), but it is not nearly "scrubby" enough to actually exfoliate. There are very few scrubbing beads and the consistency is too thin and loose. I tried using it with a washcloth and that worked better. So, bottom line, this is good for cleansing but not for exfoliation. Also, I used it in the morning as I don't think it would do a very good job removing makeup. Clean & Clear Makeup Removing Foaming Cleanser it great for that.

Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless Line Dimishing Day Lotion
OK moisturizer, but definitely NOT anti-aging
This is a pretty good moisturizer; it is very light, non-greasy, smells nice (fruity), and makeup goes on well over it. However, I have been using it for about two months now and have not seen any difference in my skin's texture, and absolutely no line diminishing has occurred. I am also disappointed that a product that claims to be an anti-aging DAY lotion contains no sun protection. I would only recommend that younger women with no aging concerns use this, and only at night (or put on sunblock over it during the day). Sorry Burt, you can do better!

Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara
Worst mascara I've ever used. EVER.
I wish I'd seen the reviews of this before I bought it. What on earth was Maybelline thinking? They took a gorgeous package and filled it with liquid evil. This stuff smells bad, flakes and smudges, clumps like crazy, and the Soft Black color is actually more like Hideous Gray. They can obviously do better than this (Great Lash anyone?), so I can't figure out why they wasted their (and my) money on this atrocity. They should pull this one off the market immediately.
