I finally tried Essie after hearing all the hype about it. While there are a LOT of colors and the formula made application super easy, I find that it chips quicker than OPI. Granted, I didn't use a clear top coat, so maybe that would'be made a difference. Like OPI, it's pricey. If you find a color you like, I'd say Essie is worth a try, but it doesn't deserve its hyped reputation.

First off, RoC's retinol like antioxidants are preventative measures. I'm always skeptical when people say that it fixed their wrinkles since anti-oxidants, retinol in particular, salvage what you have. That being said, I can't go into it's anti-aging abilities for a few more years now. What I can tell you is that this is not an overly harsh retinoid. If you're new to retinol, I recommend starting every other day and build up. Use it at night. I keep using this brand as it is highly touted by both magazines and estheticians I've visited, so I'm staking some trust in its reputation. Additionally, this product is significantly cheaper than going to a dermatologist and purchasing an RX grade retinol. If you're looking at just starting out on retinols, I recommend giving it a shot.

I love this stuff. Where Hypnose was too clumpy and Definicils to spidery, precious cells is in the middle with a lovely, feathery look. Pretty without being obvious. Like most Lancome formulas, it goes on smoothly and doesn't flake. It also come off with warm water in the shower sparing me the need to whip out my make up remover. Is it pricey? Yes, but all Lancome mascaras are pricey. In the case of mascara (at least in my humble experience), you get what you pay for. I highly recommend and I hope this is a formula they keep on the market.

Subtle and elegant. This product gives a light shimmer that highligts browbones etc. It doesn't cake or flake which is nice. My only problem with this product is that it's a little on the pink side for my skin tone. It's not horribly noticeable but I've used other products that match my skin better. However, this is still a great product and highly recommend it,

The heading pretty much says it all. I got this as a deluxe sample, and I used it twice before deciding it wasn't worth it. If a moisturizer doesn't hydrate, then it's worthless. It does have an SPF of 15, which is not impressive. It's yellow. It's thick. It doesn't absorb. My eye area didn't feel a bit hydrated. You can get just as good, anti-oxidant eye creams for a lot cheaper. If you HAVE to use a Prevage product, just use the facial serum on your eye area. I've been doing that for about two weeks without any adverse reactions. Save your money.

I used to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which left me pretty bruised up. After multiple women came up to me thinking I was a victim of spousal abuse (which was very sweet), I decided I better find something to cover them up, so I didn't ruin my poor husband's reputation. This stuff works fairly well. While darker bruises didn't totally disappear, it definetly makes them less noticeable. It also wears really well too. I recommend using a concealer brush with this. My one complaint is that I wish they had a greater variety of shades as I fell in between two of them. Word of warning: wear sun block with it because your skin will wind up lighter under this stuff should you be outside. It was bad enough explaining the bruises to people, but explaining the white rings around my bruises was just embarrasing.

You know those girls at parties whose mascara is so thick you can see it from a mile away? That's what this does. Now I don't care if people can tell that I'm wearing make-up, but I do care if my make-up makes me look like I'm trying too hard. The formula is too thick. Lashes stick together in an obvious fashion and I was constantly working to prevent clumps and tarantula eyes. I could get a less noticeable look if I rubbed the brush down with tissue paper, but you lose A LOT of product that way. Too make it look good required me to tinker with my lashes ( separating, blotting, etc), and I frankly I don't have the time or patience to deal with this every morning. The original Hypnose had some clumping problems, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by jiggling the wand as you applied it. Good points: no flaking or smudging. I won't re-purchase this sucker.

I've tried Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, and Claudalie's grapeseed lighteners, and all they did was make my sunspots slightly pink before they went back to their regular color. (Maybe these products just ticked them off.) Hydroquinine was my last resort and I wish I'd started using it sooner. I used this product for the directed three months (yes I missed a night or two). My spots are visibly lighter. Yay. They are not gone but this is the first product that has actually made an impact. It does require dedication to take an effect and it is not immediate. Patience is definitely required. I did have some mild irritation on the spots during my three month stint, but nothing bad enough to make me stop using it. What I did not like is that I had to wait 20 min before putting moisturizer on the treated spot, which resulted in me going to bed without fully moisturizing my face. I recommend anyone wishing to treat dark spots to try this first.

Okay, I've got super oily skin, and this stuff didn't make me breakout. Yay. I like the straight Argan oil for night time use as it doesn't have an SPF but provides a lot of nutrients. It is moisturizing, but using an oil vice a normal lotion takes a little bit of getting used to. (You're supposed to press it into you skin rather than rub it in. Who knew?) If dealing with straight up oil doesn't wig you out, then I recommend giving it a shot. If not, I recommend her SPF 40+ lotion as it is an actual lotion with a good SPF rating.

This stuff is so easy to control. No drips or smudging. The applicator is the key difference in this product. It's like a felt tipped pen rather than a brush so there's no stray bristels poking liner in odd places. The formula is well done too. No smudging or smearing during a long work day and it came off easily in the shower. This has got to be my favorite eyeliner of all time.
