This little tube can fit easily in a pocket for on-the-go and emergency spot-healing. However, it's unrealistic to expect it to make a blemish instantly vanish or lose its redness-- no matter what the product, that takes time. However, this clear gel has a nice texture to it, no nasty smells like most anti-acne products and dries quickly. It also has a good percent of salicylic acid without being too drying-- or prescription-only.

Dry, tough skin runs in my family, so I always like to have a lotion handy. A hotel a family member stayed at used this lotion in their bathroom kit, and it's worked wonders for me: I only need a little to moisturize both of my hands, and I immediately feel hydrated. The catch is, it only lasts a short while before I need to reapply. When I run out, I'll probably buy a bigger -but hopefully still travel-sized- bottle.

Just a tiny amount of this will provide full coverage for your eyelids up to your brow bones for an awake, bright look. I use 06 - Nude Sparkle for just that reason, and it works well. However, it doesn't last long on my combination-oily face (even though my eyelids aren't oily at all!), and I often have to reapply or use it in conjunction with eyeshadow powder or foundation to get it to "stick" better.

On first glance, you might think that this little bottle isn't worth the price, but inside is something akin to a miracle powder: it brightens ANYTHING you put it on, with less than a dab of the built-in foam brush. It can easily open up your eyes if you apply it to the corners of your eyes, but it also works well on your brow bones or even cheekbones! It's a bit difficult to blend, and you'll need a separate brush to do so, but it lasts a long time. As with most Benefit products, it's pretty pricey, but it works well!

I love this stuff! I first tried it as a sample from Bath and Body Works, and have scoured their stores to find it ever since then. You don't need much to get the full power of this spicy wash, so it'll last a long time, especially if you lather it up on a nylon loofa or similar. It'll perk you up right away (good for those who aren't fully awake in the morning when they shower), but it won't leave a cloying musk scent like some other products too. Plus, it's good for both men and women! The only thing that's stopping me from rating this a 10 is the exorbitant price.

Clinique prides itself on having fragrance-free products that have been tested six ways to Sunday so they don't cause a reaction in people. It's part of the reason why they're my favorite brand, but alas, with this acne cleansing foam, they've failed on one front: the chemicals necessary to kick acne butt (or head, as it were) make this foam smell a little unpleasant. Still, one or two pumps will be enough for most people, so it'll last a while, and it'll leave your face squeaky clean and on the road to acne freedom.

I'm not sure if I just got a brush from a bad batch or what, but from day one, my inexpensive Kabuki brush was shedding...all over me! It easily picks up a lot of powder for complete coverage, but if you're used to a softer-bristle brush that doesn't hold makeup as well, be tame with this one: you might find yourself dousing your face in a cloud of powder! I wish it were softer and didn't shed; I even brushed it out gently with an eyebrow/eyelash comb, but it still sheds like crazy! But, for less than $5, I guess I can't really complain too much.

I was sick of all my makeup brushes falling apart on me after very little usage, so I invested in the Clinique powder brush, which I use for my finishing powder and occasionally a powder blush. Not only does it have the perfect shape for the face, but it's also strong and durable-- I don't think I've lost a hair from it since the day I bought it. It's also pleasantly soft and distributes powder evenly-- not all at once in a blob. Cleaning is simple, too!
