FHI Heat FHI Ceramic Ionic Professional Flat Iron (1.25") 302RVI
Salon quality tool---but needs proper care.
I bought my FHI Heat Flat Iron for around $200. For me, I thought it was a LOT of money, but reviews I had read on it had convinced me it was well worth the money, and so far, I haven't been disappointed---after owning mine for nearly 3 years. The only problem is that mine self-adjusts it's heat, and doesn't have any dial where you can regulate the temperature. It gets VERY hot, as this is a salon quality tool. I made the mistake of leaving it on for long periods of time, and not turning it off for hours every day, and this has lead to a slight discoloration on the plastic alongside of the ceramic panels due to the constant heat for prolonged amounts of time. Advice: unplug this immediately when you are done using it. It gets hot within a matter of seconds, so it's not like you're saving any time by leaving it plugged in. I wish I would have thought of this in advance.

This powder goes on very natural, in a sheer to medium coverage, that is very buildable. I first tried this after reading many fabulous reviews about it, and wasn't disappointed. It does an amazing job at gliding over pores, without accentuating them, and doesn't make dry skin look flaked. However, I do recommend that you apply this with a Kabuki brush, rather than the sponge it comes with, for a more natural look.

I am absolutely addicted to this beauty oil! It leaves my skin feeling fresh (and thoroughly clean!) and doesn't give my skin that terrible dried-out tight feeling that so many other cleansers do. However, I will say this---you will definitely want to wash your face twice if you have been wearing heavy makeup. That's the only way to ensure that you don't have any leftover residue still lingering on your skin that you missed with the first wash. Since I've had this cleanser, I have completely abandoned all of my expensive Murad products. Between my facial lotion, clay packs, and Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil, my skin is in the best condition it's ever been, and has done a better job of clearing my uneven skin, than even leading brands such as Murad. 10/10!

I really love Nars foundations for 2 reasons: Blending is a breeze, and always looks very natural. The very sheer, water-like formula dries on skin quickly, and is very buildable. I have never had any problems with breakouts; nor does it melt off my face, even in the scorching heat of Summer, and doesn't settle into fine lines, or creases like others do. Wears beautifully, all day (and night!) long.
