Will Dry You Out Your Skin if YOou Use Too Often

I couldn't find the Neutrogena toner I wanted, so I accidentally purchased this, mistaking this for another Neutrogena toner. This shouldn't be used everyday because like many people mentioned, it will dry out your skin. I only use this once or twice a week, and only on the parts of my face that gets awfully oily, especially my T-zone. During the rare time I get pimples, I use this on it to dry it out. Another con is the smell. It smells very alcohol-y, but it's not too strong that people could smell it from a few feet away.

E.L.F. Mechanical Eyelash Curler

No Other Eyelash Curler That Costs $1 Can Compete!

My eyes' eyelashes are different for whatever reason. For my left eye, this catches all of my eyelashes, curls every single one, and separates them. For my right eye though, it catches every single one, but doesn't separate them and the outer corners look weird. That's the only reason it didn't get a 10. But overall, it's a nice product and a cheaper alternative for department store eyelash curlers. I definitely recommend this ^^

Conair Instant Heat 1 �" Curling / Straightening Iron

Doesn't Work as Well as Single Appliances

I don't really like the straightener or the curler in this tool. The straightener part does straighten, but if you use straighten a lot, your hand will get tired and hurt a bit due to the uncomfortable position. For starters, the barrel's too short, in my opinion, for curling. This curls horribly because the heat's not evenly distributed (the clamp's not as hot as the barrel), so the results don't even deserve to be called a curl! And the "curl" doesn't last more than 5 minutes. Plus, the clamp doesn't clamp your hair in tight so some strands always fall out. The only plus side of this is that you can adjust the heat settings from 1 to 25, and there's a turbo button.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Worked Out Great at First, But Then...

Like I've said in my title, this lotion worked out great for me at first. It left my skin hydrated and soft and it didn't cause breakouts. But after a few months (no, it didn't expire. It had 6 months to go according to the tube), it started making my skin really greasy, and it would remain greasy throughout the whole day. Sometimes it even gives me a pimple here and there or make my skin itch.

E.L.F. Slant Tweezer

For a Dollar, These Are Really Good!

After hearing good things about this, I decided to get one since I was ordering off the ELF website anyway. This really does work despite the price! It's slanted, so it grabs tiny hairs easily, and it works as well as any drugstore tweezer or one much pricier than this. The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is because the tip is really sharp, so if I poke my skin by accident, then ow!

This brush can be used to a) apply color all over the lid, b) contour you crease, c) highlight the brow bone, and d) put color in the inner corners of your eyes since it's angled. This brush also doesn't shed, is uber soft, costs only $1, and you can get it in stores. Seriously, what more can you ask for?

E.L.F. Blending Eye Brush

The Newer One is Definitely Better Than the Older One

The older version of the ELF Blending Brush was "too harsh on the eye" and scratchy. The newer one is awesome! It's soft, gets rid of my harsh lines (blends well, in other words), doesn't shed, and I can get it in stores for only a dollar! What more can you ask for?

E.L.F. Duo Eye Shadow Cream

It's Okay

I only have the Butter Pecan duo, and it's okay---nothing special except for the $1 price tag and the fact that I can find it in a store for a change (Jack's 99 Cents Stores on West 32nd St). The colors are lovely, but it feels a bit sticky. I haven't tried it as a base yet---just an all-over-the-lid color.

E.L.F. Studio Complexion Brush

THIS IS A MUST-HAVE IF YOU'RE ORDERING FROM THEIR WEBSITE!

I use this brush for bronzer, sometimes blush, and occasionally powder foundation. It's made of synthetic taklon hair, it's really soft (as soft as ELF's famous eye shadow brush or maybe even softer), it has the right amount of density, it doesn't shed after washes, it looks very sleek, and it's only $3! Reasons why I didn't give it a 10: 1) I can't seem to find it anywhere else but on the ELF website, and 2) It's more flatter than I thought it'd be.
