Garnier Fructis Length & Strength Shampoo

Better for repair than maintenance

I tried this shampoo based on reccomendations from a friend and I can't say that it performed any miracles for me. It did a good job cleansing but it left something to be desired in the way of shine and softness for me. I couldn't tell the difference in the strength of my hair before and after using this product, so I assume this has something to do with the strength of my hair to begin with (my hair was already quite healthy). If you're looking to repair some already evident damage, by all means give it a go but if you already have a head full of healthy hair you might want to look somewhere else to maintain it.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Smooth

Lives up to its name

This product is one of my favorites. The smell is divine, it reminds me of candy and I can't stop smelling my own hair when I've finished using it. Now it won't help frizz or style your hair in any way but if you have some damage or jsut want a really good deep conditioning treatment, this is the best. I find that three minutes doesn't quite do the trick, but if you slather it on, comb it through your hat and put a shower cap on while you steam up- it really is a miracle. Great product.

L'Oreal Paris Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Shampoo

Good, but not great.

I was expecting a lot from this shampoo because it was so hair-type specific and its marketing strategy (mirror shine and cashmere touch) really got to me. However it just wasn't quite there for me. I didn't get a lot of frizz control, my hair wasn't at its softest or shiniest and I was over all pretty disappointed. It's not a terrible shampoo by any means but if given the choice between this and something else, I would probably give the other product a try.
