  • Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Liquid Foundation

This was my trused product for a while. First of all, get rid of the sponge, it's useless. Use your brush or sponge instead, I recommend my beloved sonia kashuk blending sponge. It give medium buidable to full coverage, actually this is the fullest coverage from all the drugstore foundation I've come across. It didn't cause me breakout, but clogged pored is unavoidable. Most of the shade is rather pink, so girls with yellow undertone may have a hard time with it. The staying power is decent if you set it with powder. My biggest complain is I found it may get cakey or creased under my eyes pretty quick, especially when I try to build up the coverage. I guess my quest for a HG still continue.

  • Philosophy Purity Made Simple Foaming 3-in-1 Cleansing Gel for Face and Eyes

When I found out that my cleansing method didn't remove all of my makeup and caused me persistent acne, I was horrified and ran to sephora to grab a bottle of Philosophy purity made simple ,which I always hear good things about. It didn't dissapoint me. First, it take away every trace of makeup with the least amount of product and effort. Seriously, you just need a pea size of product each time, so the huge bottle will last you a really long time. The smell is very energizing and natural, which I belive is from all the essential oil in the product, but I can see someone may not like it as much .It doesn't leave my combination skin tight, but clean and smooth. However, in winter time, my skin can feel a little dry later. So this product maybe not very suitable for dry skin.

  • Clinique Lash Power Mascara Long-Wearing Formula

With just one swipe, it gives nice length and volume, and it hold the curl pretty good. I feel it very close to too faced lash injection pin point mascara. But it doesn't hold the curl that good and stay that long. Over all, a good product but there's something better out there. And the price isn't cheap.

  • Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX Foundation SPF 15

Give a nice glowy finish but too sheer and greasy to my taste. For the price, I expect more.

    Bonne Bell Lip Smacker

    I can't live without !

The only thing I tried that can really help my peeling lips. Love it! Give just enough shine and a lucious berry color to my lips. I neglect many of my other wonderful lip gloss just because of this baby.

  • Prestige Multi-Task Wet/Dry Powder Foundation

After months trying out mineral makeup, one after another, I finally decided that I had enough and bought my first powder foundation in my life. Wow, so glad I bought this little gem. It never cake, like those minerals products, and it feels so smooth. The coverage is medium and can be built up. I chose creamy beige, which looks a tad too dark for my skin but go on surprisingly well. Prestige has some very nice neutral shades that can work for everybody, not a even a little orange or fakely pink at all. I've just used it for two days so I can't say if it break me out yet. But I have a strong feeling it doesn't. It doesn't last very long. But because it's a convenient compact, I don't mind bring it with me to touch up during the day.

  • Clinique Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

I had high hope for this product. I have giant pores on my nose and pretty much all over my cheeks, thanks to years suffering from acne. I don't think this stuff can help cover any of them. I apply it on, ah, what a nice velvet feeling it gives, and then look at my self in the mirror, the pores are still there, I can call each of their name. Maybe it works with the light or sth, and if I look in different lighting or in different light, it can look better? I don't know, I just didn't bother to try. I though I still can use it as a makeup base because it made my face feel so smooth. And here is the most disappointing part: my makeup just seperate over it and look terrible, no matter how long I wait to let it set. Another warning: almost 20 bucks(including tax) for that tiny little 15ml tube is really a lot. I was shock to see how tiny the tube are. The fact that you just need to use a little of it each time did ease the pain a little bit though. And you need to be oily to use it, or it will dry your skin to no end.

  • Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15
    6.0

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

Still use it but won't repurchase.

I though cetaphil is always recommended for sensitive skin, no? I heard tons of people say that it burn their skin. It doesn't irritate that much, but I do feel a slight stinging around my nose, my mouth and my eyes. When I first apply it, it feel so greasy, but 15 minutes later, it kinda settle into my skin and make it feel soft and moisturized. I've just use it for 2 days, but I don't think that it clogs my pores. So I say that it does it job, but definitely doesn't meet my expectation. Some can say that it's pretty expensive for a drugstore moisturizer, but I think, by ounce, it's a decent price. Just wish they make a smaller size. I don't quite feel the bulky bottle.

  • Joppa Minerals Simple Radiance Foundation

    Joppa Minerals Simple Radiance Foundation

I'll probably settle down with this.

The most creamy minerals powder I can find. Its texture is like silk and goes on beautifully on my dry skin, giving me an dewey finish and brighten up my face a little bit. Not cakey at all, just a natural healthy finish. I just love it. However, the color range sure can get a lot better, specially for yellow undertone skin. I choose Almond butter, which appear to be very yellow and too dark for my skin. It actually goes on a little bit too light and not yellow enough.

  • Joppa Minerals Morning Dew Foundation

I have no idea how someone can use it as a all over powder. It's too glittery, at least for day time use. The range of color choice is not that great either, I couldn't found my shade. But if you actually like its glitter, and couldn find your shade, I think it could make a decent foundation with medium coverage.
