I truly believe CND is an underrated brand with consumers. There's a reason so many nail techs use their products, the formula is outstanding. Every color I've used from CND applies smooth and even with high pigmentation. Wildfire is a perfect example. It's a very chic, berry based red creme. It's close to a true red though it leans a little cool with the slight pink in its base but I still find it universally flattering. It makes me think of a 40s pinup girl or Dita Von Teese. The main complaint I hear about CND polish is the dry time. It's my experience that the formula doesn't play well with the thick quick dry top coats (Seche Vite, Poshe). When I use CND's products (Stickey, Super Shiney, Solar Speed Spray) my polish is touchable in under 20 minutes and rock hard within an hour.

What an ingenious product. My biggest gripe in carrying a nail file has always been that they either get dirty or, in the case of a glass file, can break. So I rarely pack one for this reason. The Zip File is great because the plastic sleeve keeps the file sanitary and protected. Don't you hate bumping into a file as you grab for your makeup bag, wrecking your mani? You can say buh-bye to that. Plus with two different grits, you can file down break with the coarser side and finish off the edge with the finer side.

As a hair product junkie with an unruly mane (thick, coarse, color-treated, slightly wavy), I've tried too many products to count in the attempt to attain that silky, commercial-worthy look and I'm usually disappointed. This hair masque is definitely an exception to the rule. I wouldn't call it a holy grail but it definitely adds softness to my hair without weighing it down. Though because my hair is so thick and coarse I do wonder if it would be too heavy for thinner hair texture. The consistency reminds me of marshmallow creme minus the stickiness and it spreads evenly on the hair. I've used it a few times, leaving it in both 5 & 10 minutes and can attest that the longer you leave it in, the better the results. My only complaint is the packaging. While it's lovely to look at, as a stall shower user, tubs with a twist off cap aren't as handy as a squeeze bottle.

Lemony Flutter is a staple in my purse, no matter how small it is. Moisturizing and creamy with a yummy lemon scent, this product is not only an amazing cuticle treatment but it also works on all those super dry spots, like elbows. I love how it melts into my skin without leaving a greasy mess.

Hurry Up Drops, part of the Zoya Color Lock System is an oil based product that aids nail polish drying time. Apply one drop over your top coat and it cuts the time in half. I honestly couldn't function for at least 20 minutes after finishing my maincure before discovering this product. Now I'm mobile in 5-10 minutes. It can get messy if you use too much so apply sparingly.

I have thick, coarse, slightly wavy, frizz-prone hair. Keeping it from mushrooming and becoming a giant puffball is a daily struggle. I just think about oncoming rain and my hair starts to frizz. This gloss has been my savior for 4+ years now. I take 2-3 pumps, rub my hands together and rake them through my hair, concentrating on the ends and the surface. Just don't use too much, you'll end up greasy. Combined with the anti-humectant pomade my hair can withstand the worst summer humidity. I can see how this silicone-based serum would be too much for thinner, finer hair. I'd recommend looking at the Light Elements line instead.

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15
The one product I keep going back to
As a product junkie I love trying new creams, lotions, formulas, etc. I'm always on the search for that perfect product. No matter how many times I try a new facial moiturizer eventually I come back to Regenerist. I have combo, acne-prone, allergic skin and this lotion doesn't make me greasy or dry and it doesn't clog my pores. The new Touch of Sun version was great for giving me a subtle glow all summer.

As a self proclaimed polish fanatic, I've tested a lot of brands. Zoya ranks high on my list of favorites. Their formula is free of toluene, formaldehyde and DBP (the Big 3) yet it still flows smoothly on the nail. For the most part the pigmentation is high though some shades require three coats. I find that using Zoya's base and top coats help the polish last longer and stay shiny.
