Try smoothing makeup veil instead

Unfortunately, I was not very happy with this product. I felt it was not performing, so I consulted my Shiseido consultant and she suggested the Smooting Makeup Veil. It worked much better and also contained SPF. This primer did not smooth out the roughness in my skin like the veil did. The veil also left a natural color finish on my skin, so I was able to just were it alone if I wished.

Shiseido Sun Protection Compact Foundation SPF 34 PA+++

Full coverage with full coverage sun protection

I wear this powder foundation on days that I do not have time to apply liquid. I quickly apply it with a powder brush and it covers any reddness I may have. I live in and travel to extreme heat climates like the Middle East, the desert, Morocco, which require me to have high sun protection at all times. Since I have dry skin, I have to make sure my face is very hydrated with moisturizer prior to applying this product because I feel that it maybe be a bit drying. Other than that, it's a top performer. My friends in Brazil swear by this because of the extreme sun exposure there. It's their daily makeup choice.

Shiseido The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation SPF 17 PA++

Lightweight and clean looking

This foundation provides excellent coverage (medium to full). I like it because it makes my skin look clean without that overly made up look many foundations with full coverage have. It feels light upon application and a little goes a long way. I apply it with a foundation brush. It blends well into the skin and I sometimes do not set it with setting powder to achieve a more casual look. It also does not feel greasy. The price is great ($35) because compared to Chanel foundation ($45 - $54) this brand will give you high performance without the high performance price tag. I have been very happy with all of the Shiseido products I have purchased and strongly believe in Japanese technology. Previously, I was a French snob and only used French manufactured products because of their high performance reputation.

A great portable concealer

I like this pencil because it is a handy item to keep in your makeup bag for on the go touch ups. I am on the run daily and need to keep a portable arsenal with me, which is my makeup bag with things like this.
