    Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Crème

Great for even thin, oily prone hair!

My hair is thin and tends to be on the oilier side even after a day of not washing it. I love this stuff and it doesn't add any weight or slick to my hair. It's great for taming flyaways during winter and makes it softer. My hair is kind of a medium brown so I'm not sure how glossy it makes it look.

  • Revlon Perfect Heat 1

Revlon Perfect Heat 1" Super Slim Ceramic Straightener

Had it for 7 Years Now and Still Love It!

I love this straightener! I've had since my first one (literally) blew out in college. My roomate and others in my dorm loved it so much they all went out and got the same one. I have wavy, sometimes frizzy thin hair, but lots of it. It heats up really fast, and I love the fact that the plates are full sized. It lets you do more at once, my last one was only an inch and while I guess it gives you more control over certain areas I felt it was like a curling iron and almost made straightening my hair harder. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an automatic off after like 30 minutes or so. I've left mine on by accident more times than I can count - not good. Thankfully nothing caught on fire and it still works great! Revlon hair products are the best, great price and quality. Connair sucks!

Revlon Tourmaline Ionic Total Styler Dryer

Love Revlon, but not necess. this

I've tried Conair hair dryers and they always break after 6 months to a year of use. Revlon hair dryers last forever. After deciding to finally replace my old Revlon hair dryer I knew it had to be with another Revlon. This hair dryer is nice because there are so many customizable settings, however the main drawback is the fact that the main buttoons (on/off, etc.) are on the outside and I constantly am accidentally turning the dryer off, or putting the temperature on Hot, which is scolding hot. I think that in itself is a major design flaw. Aside from that, it gets the job done.

    Won't Change Your Life

I have straight, fine hair that's naturally prone to be oily after a day of not being washed. My first thought was that this product would weigh my hair down and make it oily. I would say that with the right application technique this will not happen, however I still wish there were more benefits of using this product (anti-frizz, smoother, etc.). The smell is great and it does come out in a fine, even mist. Overall, there's way too many other hair products on the market to make this one worth the time, money or space it takes up in your cabinet.

Too Greesy for Me, but Love the Applicator

I too received this product as a sample. Upon first inspection, the packaging is great. The tube is compact enough and the best part is the metal applicator tip. This would be really great if you put the product in the fridge so then the tip would be cool to the touch upon application (although I'm not sure if the fridge would be ok for this product). Using the tip to apply, you do have to make sure you squeeze out enough product to properly lube the applicator otherwise it tends to kind of pull and stick to your skin. The reason I gave this product six stars is because for me, it’s too greasy. It’s supposed to be used morning and night, but I think it’s a better night product. In the morning it takes too long to sink into my skin and when I put on under eye concealer it would cause the concealer to not set in and just kind of sit on top of my skin and then it would all move to the creases under my eye. Not flattering. Other than that, I didn’t really notice a reduction in puffiness more than I already do using Lancome eye products, which I love.

  • Matrix Biolage Smooththerapie Deep Smoothing Shampoo

After taking a 6 month hiatus from Biolage after it ran out, I decided to finally give in and buy Aveda Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner. Boy, do I regret it. I absolutely hated the conditioner and the shampoo, while it smells amazing, make my hair dry! I've tried the color and normalizing lines of Biolage, but currently have the Smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I love them! They make my hair smooth and soft while keeping it healthy after drying and straightening it 5 days a week. It also doesn't weigh by fine, straight and usually oily hair down either. Overall, I'd say depending on what you're looking for, either stick with the Smoothing or Normalizing line. I didn't care of the Color line, hair color fades no matter what! Also, while I love Biolage's line of shampoo and conditioner, I don't care for their styling products.

  • REMBRANDT® INTENSE STAIN™ Stain Dissolving Strips

These strips are hard to get out of the packaging without bending or tearing them and they stick to the inside of the package. They're fairly easy to put on (make sure all surfaces the strip touches are dry), but they do not dissolve completely, which is my main problem with the strips. No matter how long, they leave remnants in your teeth that must be picked up brushed out. It's gross. The taste isn't the worst. Overall they aren't hugely effective, but I think with constant and prolonged use they will eliminate surface stains. Personally, I'd rather stick with the whitening gel and mouth guards I received from my dentist, although I know not everyone has money to have these made.

A Little Thick, but Overall Good

Overall, this is a good moisturizer. The smell is fresh and smells somewhat of cucumber. I didn't feel it was overpowering at all. It moisturizes rather well. My only complaint is it's a little thicker than what I'm used to. Other than that, it absorbs fine and once it does, there isn't a sticky feel, which is very important to me.

  • Sally Hansen Salon Double Life Base & Top Coat

I basically never paint me nails because it's a total waste of time for me. If I paint them one day, there is almost always a chip by the next. If I take a shower in the same day after painting them, there would for sure be a chip! I have used base coats and top coats before, never with much luck so I was hesitant, but thought I'd give this stuff a try. It works! I use it as a base and top coat. I can go probably three days without a chip and that is saying a lot for me! I've heard that reapplying it every couple of days can also help to extend your polish so I plan on giving that a try soon!

    Convenient and Smells Great

As another review stated, this tube is really convenient - both for easy and quick application and for storing it in your purse or wherever else. The smell is great (fruity, but not too overpowering). It absorbs rather quickly. The only downside I would say is be careful not to squeeze too hard as too much oil can suddenly release into the brush. Also, it seems as though if you squeeze too hard, the brush nozzle will pop off.
