RE: Anti Aging Foundation and applying it

I was just wondering which foundation is best for women in their 40's??? I've been using L'OREAL True Match in W5 and love it... I use a "Stippling" brush to put it on that I purchased from a CHEAP online cosmetic's company..I'm SURE most will know which company I am talking about but  was wondering how the Prestige stippling brush worked..I read some great review's on it but then again I saw a LOT that use MAC's 187 brush but some say most prefer the MAC brush because it' so expensive coming in at $42.00 while the stippling brush by Prestige  is ($19.00) is a good one?? I have my 30'th class reunion coming up in Oct. this yr (2013) and need a GREAT foundation for women in their 40's and I DO like buildable coverage..I also have another question regarding eye bases.. Are they ok to use in your 40's ??? When I DO use foundation I want a flawless look..I have every "anti-aging" skin care product out there..Well not ALL but about $1500.00 worth in the last 6 month's and my eye's have been puffier than usual lately and want my undereye to look smoother instead of make up stuck in the crease's.I have aged pretty well but trying to keep my fountain of youth as long as possible I just need some help's  and tips PLEASE

Re: RE: Anti Aging Foundation and applying it

What is your skin type? Do you have sensitive skin and/or allergies? I am more concerned that the skin under your eyes has been puffier than usual--you need to take care of that issue first, possibly by removing products that you use and seeing if the condition improves. If you do have creases, there are some skin regimens like Ole Henriksen's which naturally diminish them, but they're not for those with sensitive skin. When it comes to eye bases, they are for EVERYONE! I particularly love Too Faced's "Shadow Insurance" because it is extremely lightweight and creamy. You won't even know it's there, but your makeup will stay put. Sorry--I'm answering your first question last. I have a tendency to use a powder foundation, so I am not an authority when it comes to foundation brushes. If you truly want flawless skin, invest in a Temptu airbrush system and learn to use it well. Your skin will be more beautiful than you can believe. And a highlighter (from Temptu or another brand) will give you a radiant, soft glow of youth. Please get back to me . . .
