hi everyone!
i just had a quick question on how to fix my hot roots. nov 2012 i dyed my hair dark brown and it turned black, i waited until march to try to lighten it (with a lighter box dye, now i know for sure colour doesn't lift colour). my roots are very light and the rest of my hair is as black as ever. this was 3 weeks ago. i went to sally's and got a 20 vol developer and 6WR (dark gold mahogany blonde) colour. i've been reading now that i should have gotten an "N" or neutral colour??? will 6WR make my hot roots even more noticeable? I also wanted advice on how to apply it. should i put it on my roots first then my ends, or should i do the ends first then the roots? would you suggest i return the dye to sally's and get an N dye?? thank you!!!!
