Here is one you might not of been asked a million times but does estrogen weaken nails? Yes I am asking because I am a male to female and when I was living as a male my nails were always long and would very seldom ever break. Even unloading trucks and putting in fences everyday, women were often jealous. Since I have started HRT (Hormonal Replacement Therapy) they break constantly no matter how careful I am. A girlfriend said it was the estrogen but from the sounds of it seemed like she was blaming Osteoporosis. Something I do not have. I have been keeping polish on them and filed but any help to make them stronger would be a big help.
