Makeup
I've been using Jane Iredale for about a year. I love what it has done for my skin, acne wise. I don't hardly ever break out anymore. But it's sooo powdery. I use the setting spray, but it makes my skin so oily and I feel like the makeup just comes off. I don't want to use makeup that has a bunch of junk in it, because my skin is acne prone and oily. But I would like a little more coverage. I need something that's still good for my skin, but controls the oil better and offers more coverage. I've been researching Mac, Sheer Cover, Mirabella, Bare Minerals and some others. I've heard Mac is bad for your skin, but Bare Minerals and Sheer Cover are powdery. Help!
1 ReplyPerhaps you may want to use an excellent skin care system for acne such as Proactiv rather than depend on foundation to keep your skin clear. When you say that you have researched mineral makeups, do you mean that you have actually tried them? Mineral makeups are great for sensitive or acne-prone skin, but I find them too drying. You still want to keep a radiant look. Why not visit your local Sephora or Ulta and work with a consultant? They will give you samples to try so that you don't break the bank finding the right foundation for you. Personally, I love Lancome's "Dual Finish" powder foundation. It glides on seamlessly, keeps oil at bay, but still allows you to glow.
