I go matte , matte with foundations . Long wear eyeshadow creams and pencils and SPFs that matte and go on light for oily skin like Clarins UV Plus and Shiseido Urban Environment Oil Free UV Protector SPF 42 . Plus this is when bold lipgloss seems to come out to play more. I love gloss all year but for me summer seems to be my fav time to wear it. The new Dior orange has become a fav .

UD All Nighter Spray. Whoop!

I'm in FLA, so sunscreen is an absolute must all day. Like you, the heavy foundation is OUT, and I"m a bare minerals girl, so I just dust lightly over my sunscreen. I also need that coverage on my lips, so I can't do without lip gloss. I haven't found any mascara, shadow, or liner that will stay put with this heat, so instead I just dust my lids with my foundation to even out the tone and give me some extra protection on that delicate skin.

I keep the SPF lip glass and sunscreen. It's good to protect your skin all year long.

I knoww; I'm in Florida too and this time of year is the worst. If you want your eye makeup to stay during this time of year, apply your Bare Minerals concealer/foundation/mineral veil as normal and use a eyeshadow base. I use one I picked up at a mall kiosk from Bella Peire, and it's a nude colored putty almost that you just dab on the lid like eye cream. I'm sure MAC makes one or maybe Bare Essentials, as well. Anyway, apply that then follow with the Maybelinne quads (like Emerald Smokes or Natural Smokes; etc) and apply how you prefer. They last all day plus they're only about $5 so you can get a few different pallets to play with if you want to. For mascara, Bare Essentials has the BEST mascara I've ever tried. I use the flawless definition one because the curl one doesn't seem to work as they claim, well at least not for me. =] Have fun !

I start mixing moisturizer with foundation to lighten it up, and recently i've really gotten into bb creams. I also put away the dark eye liners and eye make up. I like to keep my makeup as natural as possible in the summer. I bring out the bronzer and summer is really the only time i use it.

I make sure to use lip products with SPF more frequently.

During the summer I also ditch foundations, I tend to use more anti-acne products because I break out more often during the summer. I also buy more colorful nail polishes! I definitely use more dry shampoo because hair gets so oily.

I lighten up my look, especially on my eyes. I love playing with more shimmery eyeshadows and having more fun with colors. I also experiment way more with my hair -- normally I just wear it down, but during the summer I find new updos to try.

I LOVE that mascara, too! I'll try some BE mineral veil with one of the quads to see if that works out for me (I've been looking for an excuse to check one out!).
